The Young And the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Betrays Victor, Exposes Cane Plot & Sabotages Spy Mission

The Young And The Restless Spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) may decide to blow Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plans for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

Phyllis may not be necessarily close to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) any longer, but she also isn’t willing to allow Victor to take advantage of him by planting Matt in his life.

Matt Clark Has Plenty Of Problems

Matt has plenty of issues already and he doesn’t need any more problems. Unfortunately, Victor’s plan to allow Matt to redeem himself involves spying on Cane.

Cane has had anything to do with Phyllis’  takeover of Newman Enterprises. Cane tried to stop what Phyllis was doing with Newman.

Cane has just saved Malcolm Winter’s (Shemar Moore) life and he deserves a break. Cane is also working with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) by running Chancellor for her.

Phyllis doesn’t want to see Victor ruin this for Cane. Victor took Newman away from Phyllis, but she may want to protect Cane.

Matt Clark Doesn’t Believe Victor Newman

Matt doesn’t want to go back to his evil ways. Matt truly wants to change. Matt feels that he has caused plenty of problems for other people and he wants to stop now. Matt even asked Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) about this situation.

Matt believes that Nick should have a say in what he doesn’t because he has harmed him the most. Victor has vowed to turn Matt over to the cops if he doesn’t do as he asked.

However, Matt has gotten out of charges before. Victor has promised Matt that he doesn’t have to do anything to harm anyone.

Phyllis Summers May Figure This Out

Phyllis is not stupid and figuring out what is up once Matt tried to make friends with Cane will be a piece of cake.

Phyllis knows how Victor works and will certainly catch on quickly. Phyllis may also feel that she owes Cain a favor. Phyllis may very quickly point out what she believes Matt is up to and leave it at that. Phyllis may also decide that she will warn Matt to stop or she will come clean to Cane.

Phyllis has befriended Matt and she really likes him. Will Phyllis confront Matt before he gets what he wants to Victor? Will Phyllis warn Cane about what it going on instead?

Phyllis’ interference may make things worse for Matt if she does spill the beans. Victor may blame Matt for messing this up and that could lead to him being turned into the cops or worse.

Will Phyllis warn Cane of Matt’s mission? Will Matt manage to get what Victor wants before it is too late?
