The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will cause chaos with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) during the week of December 5.

She brought the hardened criminal to Genoa City in a plot to get Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). However, the Y&R spoilers suggest that it could hurt Phyllis in the long run when Jeremy turns his focus to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) blast Phyllis on Monday’s (December 5) show. They think contacting Jeremy to give Diane’s location went too far. They worry that he could target other members of the family, including Harrison Locke Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).

Phyllis refuses to accept the fact that Jeremy could target her loved ones. She firmly believes that Jeremy will run Diane out of town, solving their Diane problem for good. Ashley and Nikki aren’t so sure and decide they don’t want to be part of Phyllis’s plan.

Phyllis thought Jeremy would find Diane and run her out of town. In fact, Phyllis thought Diane would skip town when she learned about Jeremy’s prison release. But Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) refused to allow Diane to leave, promising to keep her safe from Jeremy’s wrath.

The buzz on social media is that Phyllis pays the ultimate price. Instead of targeting Diane, he lashes out at Summer. It would be a move that would hurt Diane, Phyllis, and Kyle.

When Jack gets proof that Phyllis sent Jeremy to threaten Diane, he will blast Phyllis for her reckless move. He will rage that she didn’t consider the consequences of putting their grandchild in the line of fire. Of course, Phyllis will disregard Jack’s concerns by saying that Jeremy only wants Diane, so the rest of the family will be safe.
