Y&R spoilers reveal that Summer is determined to prevent an all-out war between Phyllis and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Summer knows that the two will never be friends but wants to prevent Phyllis from going over the edge. Plus, Summer has some big career plans and can’t spend all her time worrying about her mother.
Summer plans on negotiating a truce between Phyllis and Diane. When Summer brings this up with Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bergman), she doesn’t get a lot of support. Lauren hates and doesn’t trust Diane just as much as Phyllis.

Despite most people telling Summer that a truce is hopeless, she won’t give up. During the week of June 20, Phyllis returns to Genoa City. Summer brings up a truce between Phyllis and Diane. Even though Phyllis will never let forget what Diane has done, she agrees to move on. This is a lie, though, which Summer realizes as the week progresses.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Phyllis and Diane meet in the park. Summer facilitates the truce, which is exciting news for Diane. In fact, Diane can’t wait to share this news with Jack.
Afterward, Phyllis tries to get Jack to meet with her. Jack reluctantly agrees to five minutes. Since Phyllis blames Diane for her ruined relationship with Jack, she hopes that this truce will fix things. However, Jack isn’t clueless and likely suspects that Phyllis is planning something.

In the weekly preview, Summer tells Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that she fears Phyllis is secretly plotting against Diane. Kyle doesn’t like the sound of this but there isn’t a lot he can do about it.
The preview also shows Phyllis in disguise peeking around corners to spy on Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Then, in a phone call, Phyllis says that some people need to learn their lesson. What kind of lesson does Phyllis have in mind? Is this just a scheme to expose Diane’s hidden intentions? Or could Phyllis plan on getting rid of Diane permanently?

I hope the actors and us fans are not going to be subjected to more childish spying on people. The cheap, not fooling anyone disguise, sitting barely a talble away! The last stint with Sally must have been humiliating for the actress and other actors involved and worse it was an insulting and cheap entertainment to provide loyal fans who deserve so much better than childish garbage.

This article mentions that Jack is "clueless". yes he is when it comes to Diane and not so much Phyllis but of course all this will go on so why worry just sit back and enjoy

I don't like being harsh for the fun of it but I really think us loyal fans deserve better. I don't want to quit watching, I just want the show to do better. I feel bad for some of these fine actors, they probably get paid well but it's humiliating to their craft. I feel embarrassed for them and angry for loyal fans who deserve far better. Today was just as I expected Phyllis wearing a stupid disguise standing there in the park, so childish and ridiculous. Who writes this stuff, children can do better.
