Summer Newman (Hunter King) is in Italy and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) leaves Genoa City. When Phyllis helps serve the homeless, she feels left out as Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) bond.

Y&R spoilers reveal that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is going to Spain to search for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). However, Jack invites himself to tag along as he feels the need to get out of Genoa City for a little while. Abby isn’t going to be found soon as she is still missing during the week of November 29.

So, Phyllis won’t have anyone to spend Thanksgiving with, especially since she is no longer with Nick.

Phyllis offers to help Sharon with feeding the homeless. Sharon is glad to have the help but before she can really say anything, Nick comes in. When Phyllis and Nick encounter each other, it turns into another awkward situation. As Phyllis tries to keep herself busy and focused on setting up the meal, she can’t help but make an observation. Phyllis sees how Nick and Sharon are bonding. Phyllis also notices how easy the rapport is between the two of them. The situation ends up making Phyllis feel like the odd one out.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Summer is still in Italy with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). So, that’s not an option for Phyllis, which will probably play into her emotional state. With everyone that Phyllis is close to gone or busy, she will really feel the weight of how lonely she is on Thanksgiving. It is a day where everyone she sees is gathering with family and friends.

However, Phyllis has no one and this will set up a stand-alone episode in which Phyllis tries to figure out her heart.

Phyllis gets angry over Nick’s bonding with Sharon and leaves without serving a single meal. Going back to her hotel room, Phyllis chats with Summer and then goes to sleep. When she is awakened by a pounding on her hotel room door, someone unexpected walks in. Stafford told Soap Opera Digest,

“She’s pretty shocked to see who it is. Phyllis is then taken on a special journey that’s a real wild ride. There are some really cool scenes coming.”
