The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are an item once again. But the fickle nature of their past relationships and another factor combine to put the latest Phick revival in jeopardy.
Nick was hesitant to let Phyllis back in. He broke with her last spring when Gina Tognoni (Phyllis) was still part of the cast. Trust issues doomed that brief edition of Phick.
A developing family matter serves as the latest, developing source of conflict.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Hotelier’s Battling For Control
Nick has spoken directly with Phyllis about the tricks that she and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) are employing on each other. The hotelier is locked in what could be an extended battle, which is basically steeped in spite.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) overheard a conversation Phyllis was having at Society just as the original Grand Phoenix trio, which included Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), was forming. Phyllis’ condescending comments about Abby included Red’s intent to push Abby out, eventually.
The Moustache told Abby what was said and she hasn’t trusted Phyllis ever since. But Nick wasn’t overly upset with Phyllis’ actions regarding this family member.
Y&R Spoilers – Withholding Vegas Card
Phyllis hasn’t told Nick what she heard his brother admit to Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, she did recently tell Nick that she was trying to get information for him that would help his family.
Nick’s desperation, in wanting to keep Adam at bay, forced Phyllis to meet with Abby and Chance. She was open with them, but highly exercised to learn that they’d gotten rid of the memory stick which had Adam’s self-defense murder admission on it.
It’s likely that Nick will take offense to Phyllis not informing him about her awareness of Adam’s Vegas connection to Chance and then pocketing the digital murder admission. Nick could have at least given Victor that intel, which may have prevented Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle) from being initially forced out at Newman Enterprises.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Is Best Match
Yes, this is a subjective take. But it’s arguable that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is Phyllis’ best romantic match at this point in both of their lives.

Sure, Phyllis cheated on Jack with Nick in the past. But soapy circumstances have evolved. Jack is single and still cares deeply for Phyllis. If Nick dumps her overboard again, a good choice will be Bergman’s character.

Neither she looks too old and cougar for someone casual and sporty as Nick. Not to mention he is a family guy so her actions towards his family are too extreme for anyone much less a family guy to want her in his life.
Jack is way too kind, sophisticated and classy for Phyllis. His character may have been up for the drama when his was younger but Jack’s character is moving into a stage of life where he has realized life is too short. He needs a fresh, new classy female in his life. Not some washed up troll roaming around GC sticking her nose in everyone’s business and showing up uninvited to events.
