The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Knows That Sally Spectra Plotted With Tara Locke
Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Sally has been in on the plan from the beginning to mess things up for Summer Newman (Hunter King). Sally was the one who retaliated against Summer digging up dirt on her from the Spencer family out in California by digging up some dirt on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) knew from their days in New York. That started the whole snowball that turned into an avalanche of secrets, plots, and lies that ultimately broke up Kyle and Summer.
Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Phyllis came up with a very methodical plan to take down Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and taking down Sally may be part of that plan! Phyllis knows that Sally and Tara had been plotting something together, as she has seen them talking together at different times, and knew they should have no connection to one another before Sally got Summer’s job at JCV. Now both Sally and Tara are working for JCV, and Phyllis can barely believe that Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) didn’t see through the two scheming skanks!
Phyllis hasn’t trusted Sally from the moment she hit town, and maybe that’s a redhead thing – it takes one to know one! Phyllis has been worried about her good friend and ex-husband Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and has tried to warn him about Sally – but he hasn’t been listening. Phyllis can smell a golddigger from miles away!

Viewers of The Young and The Restless who also watch its sister soap, The Bold and The Beautiful will recall that Sally came from a famous designing family. Lauren knew Sally’s great aunt, Sally Spectra l (Darlene Conley) personally when she worked with the Forresters for a while. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) also worked with them and that is probably why Jack takes such chances with young Sally. However, he knew to break things off with her recently when she went too far and he caught her scheming – but she did apologize and now they are starting to hang out a little bit again.
Phyllis doesn’t know any of that family history, but as viewers of The Young and The Restless know, Summer found out some of that more recent history where Sally embarrassed herself out of Los Angeles! She couldn’t give up an ex fiancé, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and tried to hang on to him by faking a terminal illness, and she even got desperate enough to tie up his fiancée in their house when she exposed her! Sally had pretended she couldn’t walk and Flo Logan (Katrina Bowden) had thrown a snake and scared her out of her “paralysis”!
Phyllis wants to set a foolproof trap for Sally to expose her not only to Jack but to Lauren, so she just might give the Spencer family a call out in Los Angeles and see what other dirt she can dig up on Sally that she can expose her with! Wouldn’t it be funny to plan a surprise party for Sally with all her Genoa City coworkers and maybe tell her to bring Jack along with the guest of honor being that Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) guy she’s so scared of – Phyllis can’t figure out why. He reminds her of Brad Carlton (Don Diamont)!
