The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will eliminate the threat. She is teased to kill Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) in self-defense.
Jeremy was outraged that Phyllis did not take a flight out of town per their plan. He threatened to kill her if people learned she was alive because that would mean his link to their scheme to frame Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Phyllis warned Jeremy while he was yelling at her in the hotel room on the outskirts of Genoa City, Wisconsin. Her hideout proved to be the location where Phyllis’ next crime took place.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Late Jeremy Stark Was A Bad Guy
Diane is a bad lady in the opinions of many, starting with Phyllis. Walters’ character admitted to her involvement with Jeremy after a period of time passed.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) was drawn into the maelstrom the moment Diane revealed herself as alive in Los Angeles, California. Phyllis was his romantic focus at that point in the plot, but Diane wanted to change that reality.
Phyllis recognized Diane as a direct threat to her, Jack, and their families. She loudly warned everyone for months but made no progress. Eventually, Phyllis felt compelled to conspire with Jeremy to frame Diane for a fake murder.
Y&R Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Not In Prison For Long?
Diane was arrested after the officers Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) sent to Abbott mansion found needed evidence. The audience learned the lengths Phyllis and Jeremy went to set Diane up.
Chance’s discovery of an empty poison bottle in Phyllis’ suite and his officers’ discovery of a letter, in Phyllis’ handwriting, at the Abbott home was more than enough to make the warrant worth it.
So, Diane was arrested at Phyllis’ wake, which was held at the Genoa City Athletic Club. Phyllis was observing in the Neil Winters’ Jazz Lounge while in disguise. But her joy was not masked.

Phyllis solved one threat. But Jeremy’s elimination does not instantly resolve her path back to the living.
How can Phyllis explain not being killed when revealing herself as alive?
One way to accomplish this hard task would be to blame everything on Jeremy. Not being arrested for his death or proving it was self-defense is part of the equation. Plus, this option would also mean Diane is set free on Y&R.

Even with the short time in Jail, why wasn’t Diane in jail clothing rather than a black suit?
This suit must have been brought to her by Jack because she was wearing her glittery black dress when she was arrested. Next time you see her she will be in jail fashion since she didn’t have bail to pay she’s stuck in there for now.
If I were Phyllis I would show up in Genoa City in a fogged state of mind. Then slowly talk about Jeremy Stark and how he at first took advantage of her weak state of mind. But later drugged her and took her hostage so Diane would go to jail. That when she tried to break away he threatened to kill her. Maybe slowly remember that he attacked her and she fought back but he was the one who met his demise. Then slowly remember how she still feared for her life because of Stark’s affiliate’s and what they may do to her. This is why she got rid of Stark’s body for fear of retaliation.
I can buy that storyline!
Hope when Phyllis come back and tell all that her time in jail will be short as well Because everything that happen ed to her was because of Jemery.
the show is no good that they knocked off jeremy in the show. he was the main character. dont like how it ended in violance . it was disturbing to me
Being Phyllis, I see her opening the door into the courtroom making a grand entrance just after they find Diane guilty. I hope the trial is short. I hate it when things go on and on. LOL
As narcissistic as Phyllis is, she can’t stay dead. She is always the center of attention, and always talking.
Her kids will probably ditch her for good now. I love Lily’s new bob hairdo. She is so pretty.
