The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) spiraling into insanity, her children might file a judicial commitment. A judicial commitment is an order to commit someone for mental health care because they are a danger to themselves or others-beginnng with a forty-eight hour hold for psychiatric assessment.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Her Hate Has Consumed her

It’s easy for Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) to see their mother is consumed with hate and revenge against Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). It has become an obsession for Phyllis to rid herself, and the world, of the woman she blames for taking everything from her-her job, her family, her man.

Phyllis has clearly lost all sense of reality-it is her obsessive hatred for Diane that has caused her to make horrible decisions such as selling her hotel.

She blames Diane for ruining her relationships with Summer and Daniel too, and nothing could be further from the truth-Phyllis refusing to get rid of her obsession did that. She blames Diane for stealing her man, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) but she didn’t-Jack made his own choice, choosing to break off with Phyllis because of her obsession.

Y & R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Has Become Unbalanced

Phyllis has clearly become unbalanced-her whole life has become about destroying Diane, no matter what it takes. Given half the chance she would murder her, and if Diane hadn’t gotten the upper hand over her in that hotel room, she might have. But Phyllis was actually trying to get Diane to harm her-she wanted to frame Diane for her murder, and that would be pretty difficult to do if she’d succeeded!

This is no longer about wanting to protect anyone from who at one time definitely was a very dangerous and unbalanced woman; it’s become about Phyllis proving herself right.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Rosales Will Help

Awkward though it may be, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will help walk Daniel and Summer through the process of getting their mother help. She won’t diagnose her, because that would mean spending time watching her behavior, which could be dangerous for Sharon, because Phyllis could see her as a rival.

Phyllis was the one who stole Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) from her years ago but from what Summer and Daniel describe, Phyllis is definitely paranoid with a deep seated obsession.

Sharon tells Daniel and Summer even though they can take the steps to have their mother committed, they may need to get Jack on board as well. He can attest to the years of obsessive hatred of Diane and paranoia about her taking everything from Phyllis.
