Even though Phyllis dealt with the Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) completely wrong, her intentions were good. Whether Phyllis is right or wrong about Diane, she just wanted to protect Summer, Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
