The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Uses Matt As Leverage Hands Him Over To Victor

The Young And The Restless spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) may have found a  new way to get what she wants from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Phyllis believes that things will be okay if Victor drops the charges against her other taking Newman Enterprises. Will Phyllis trade Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) for the company?

Phyllis Summers Has Never Met Matt Clark

On May 7 Phyllis ran into an amnesiac Matt who she had never met before. Of course, being a former part of the Newman family, Phyllis has likely heard the stories about Matt torturing Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

On May 13, Phyllis believes she saved her friend from Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk). Now after reconnecting and some flirty talk, it seems that Matt has decided that Phyllis is the person to help him figure out who he is and all about his past.

Unfortunately, Matt may have just walked into the lion’s den considering that Phyllis is about to learn that the Newmans are willing to give just about anything to get their hands on Matt.

Phyllis Summers’ Mind Is Hard At Work

It is quite obvious that the wheels are turning in Phyllis’ mind as the best way to use this information.

Phyllis is putting the pieces together now that Matt has mentioned both Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). It seems that Phyllis will set a trap and it just may include Nick.

Phyllis knows everything Matt put Nick through recently, except perhaps his drug addiction. However, it is pretty well known that Matt attempted to kill most of the Newmans in an explosion in Las Vegas.

Phyllis just may agree to hand Matt over to Nick if he promises to get Victor to back off with the fake AI evidence that was given to the DA.

Will A Leap Of Faith Pay Off?

Phyllis may believe that this is a good deed and it deserves to be rewarded. After all, the Newmans have had no luck when it comes to cornering Matt now that he is back.

Will Phyllis make sure that Matt falls into the hands of the Newmans?  Will Victor agree to drop the charges against her if she does give them Matt?

Nick is still the father of Phyllis’s daughter and that should buy him some loyalty even if the gesture doesn’t work both ways. Nick doesn’t necessarily believe that Phyllis needs to go to prison but he isn’t happy with her stealing the company either.

Could these two come up with a compromise?  Is Phyllis being used to secure Matt and nothing more?
