The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) worked hard on herself. She made the most of a generous opportunity the legal system offered her when being allowed to live in Minnesota and take care of her mother.

Upon returning to Genoa City, Wisconsin, something changed in Chelsea’s demeanor. Anyone who was concerned about her could easily see that she stabilized her mind by dealing with her anger, taking responsibility for her actions, and leaving past battles behind.

But did Chelsea settle an internal grievance that she held against Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case)? The easy answer seems to be no.

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is a good guy. Sharon was attracted to him during their first meeting in GC.

Chelsea is a smart, dynamic, and beautiful woman. She has had and will have no trouble attracting potential romantic options. So, why is Rey in her subconscious?

Replying by stating his forgiveness touched her heart would gloss over something important. Chelsea is allowing herself to develop feelings for Rey rather than respect.

Y&R Spoilers – Sharon Rosales Is Looking The Other Way

Sharon is genuinely convinced that Chelsea is healed. She feels that Chelsea’s interaction with Rey is a part of the recovery process.

But Sharon’s professional assessment of Chelsea is a bit too clinical. She seems to have settled her mind in believing that Chelsea has no latent jealousy regarding Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

While Adam is not currently interested in either Chelsea or Sharon, his choice of loves was Sharon. That naturally bothered Chelsea, who gave him her all on multiple occasions across many years when no one, including Sharon, would defend him.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson Is Not Fully Recovered

There is no doubt that Chelsea is in a much better state of mind than last year. The comparison point between when she poisoned Rey, to try and frame Adam, and now is like night and daytime.

However, repressed feelings of rage toward Sharon, who foolishly worked with Adam in goading Chelsea while she was paralyzed and mute after her stroke, are clearly there.

Hopefully, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), Rey, Adam, or even Sharon can force Chelsea to look in the mirror. It is not healthy to be pursuing Rey because he is married. And he is married to Sharon.
