Nick seems to think that his brother was faking his memory loss and he wants to prove it. However, what he finds when digging, is much more damaging to Adam’s case. Here’s what you need to know about what’s coming up on Y&R.
Rey starts to investigate into Adam’s past. For him, it isn’t just a job that Nick gave him, It’s personal. Y&R spoilers tease that Rey’s girlfriend, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has a super close relationship with Adam. And, it is a source of tension for them as he thinks Adam is dangerous.

So, when Nick asks Rey to investigate Adam’s past, he jumps at the chance. It will give him some info that he can tell Sharon when she questions his motive for trying to drive a wedge between her and Adam.
Let’s assume that Nick sends Rey back to Vegas. He could run into Riza Thompson (Tina Casciani), who could reveal that Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll) was the one who financially supported Adam’s card sharking scheme.

If that happens, Nick will make a couple assumptions. First, the fact he and Chance are in contact will reveal that his memory loss was a sham. He never had any memories issues and he faked it to manipulate their father.
Y&R Spoilers: Rey Rosales Finds A Surprising Link
If he did fake his memory loss, that means, the whole three years he was in Vegas he knew who he was. Y&R spoilers tease that Adam will refuse to admit that he faked his memory loss, fearing that if he does, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will never forgive him.
See, if he did fake his memory loss, that would mean he knew who he was and he let her grieve him again. He let her believe that he was dead. Unless, Y&R is planning to reveal that they have been in contact and the whole deal of she doesn’t want a life with him is just a big ‘ol con.
