The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Rey Encourages Sharon’s Work With Connor – Pushing Her Towards Adam?

Young And The Restless Spoilers: Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) - Sharon Newman (Sharon Case)Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) believes that circumstances are different now on ‘The Young and the Restless’. His assessment is right, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) does see Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in a different daytime light now, as compared to when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) learned he was alive and living in Las Vegas, Nevada.

‘Shey’ has just begun the process of reforming, with Rey and Sharon recently setting their second date. While the detective’s instincts are sharp, his depth perception isn’t.

Yes, Adam is fully focused on Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) well-being for the moment. While Sharon thinks she can handle Adam’s next dark turn, the infamous character’s charisma is similar to a vortex.

Sharon, like Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and now, incredibly, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), has a soft spot for Adam. In Sharon’s case, she shared the earliest connection with this character after he returned to GC as an adult.

‘Shadam’ was an intense couple that eventually gave way to a stronger one in ‘Chadam’. However, Chelsea’s multiple rejections, following Adam’s return to the living last spring, made him turn to Sharon, as he’s just done again.

Adam is a force of nature. Can Sharon really say that about Rey? No.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Shey Less Intriguing Than Adam Newman

Vilasuso’s character is a good guy and someone who almost assuredly would provide Sharon will long-term stability.

Unless Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) comes forward with proof that she lied about her newborn’s paternity, Rey is going to stay in GC and maintain Sharon as the center of his personal life.

Simply coming into contact with Adam on a regular basis, as Sharon will now do by helping Connor, creates the potential for ‘Shadam’s’ revisit, or even revival. Adam has power over Sharon that she knows exists, which is why Case’s character has never fully cut him off.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Common Interests Renew Bond

Sharon shares a much deeper history with Adam and also the similarity of parental experience. Rey doesn’t stack in that key category, which is what Adam is mining this time around.

To be clear, Adam is sincere in believing that Sharon was helping Connor and can continue to help his son make progress. Even though Grossman’s character is also being honest about dropping Newman vendettas in order to put Connor’s needs first, his mind is still calculating.

Adam actually does have a soft spot for Sharon in his occasionally present heart. With that and Chelsea’s current tie to his brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Rey should recognize the potential for danger that lies ahead for ‘Shey’, but apparently he doesn’t.This site is a leading source for everything linked to ‘The Young and the Restless’.

      Adam and Phyliss are a good match BUT not romantic. They are both evil, backstabbing, low lifes.

      Couples;

      Rey and Sharon are boring. Sharon and Adam are interesting.

      Chelsea, I would never have brought her character back she took both Adam and Nick to a sofa sitting snore fest about three years ago and here wo go again. Her character doesn’t make sense no reprocussions for her crimes, not for her conning Lauren or the old people in her past. I don’t like the message it’s ok to rip off people if you have a big toothy grin and carry on like criminal actions don’t matter, if you make light of it with “I’ve changed’ She obviously hasn’t because Calvin wasn’t cold before she got into Nicks bed and started washing her dead husband’s money.

      Cane is the only one old enough or despicable enough for Phyllis. Her back with Jack, Nick or Billy would just be rediculous and unbelievable. The fact that Adam has just given her so much money is silly, they have only recently became friends. It would have been more sensible for Adam to justify it. He could have said he wanted to focus on Connor and not waste time on vengeance but was sorry for what Victor had done to her and her marriage to Jack, so here’s some money etc.

      Writers should remember as much as we have loved some characters they have just run their course. Hillary and Devon for example were an enjoyable couple but again they got to the sitting in the apartment every episode. Once couples get there it’s time to call it quits. Kudos to the actor playing Dillon he recognized this was where he was heading and left.
