Y&R spoilers reveal that Rey is determined to arrest Adam. Not only does he want him to go to prison for poisoning him but wants payback on a personal level. He blames Adam for his marriage crumbling. Even though Adam is innocent, Rey has a hard time believing that. Or, perhaps, Rey has a feeling Chelsea could be responsible. However, Rey’s personal feelings could be clouding his professional judgment. In any case, Rey is a victim and he should not even be part of the case due to a conflict of interest.

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, Rey pays another visit to Chelsea. He wants to catch Adam and place the handcuffs on him. However, he can’t do that because Adam slipped away, and Rey puts the blame on Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). His next idea is to force Adam out of hiding by giving him a reason to come home. He suggests that Chelsea have Connor come home and pretend that he’s seriously ill. He believes that will be what it takes for Adam to come back home.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Chelsea is a bit conflicted about the idea. However, it sounds like she ends up going for it despite her better judgment. Executive producer and head writer Josh Griffith told Soap Opera Digest,
“Chelsea needs Adam to pay for his ‘crimes’ but knows there’ll be serious repercussions if she allows Rey to use Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as a trap. However, Chelsea is getting desperate and desperate times call for desperate measures.”

We can see something like this going horribly wrong. Plus, Soap Opera Digest teases that in two weeks, the Newman family will reel over shocking news. Could Chelsea and Rey’s plan end up backfiring in a horrific way? If Adam comes home and spots Rey, he could try to run. If that happens, Rey would probably pull out his gun. He’s not going to let him get away this time. His need for revenge — both professionally and personally — is too great. And it could result in an innocent person getting caught in the crossfire. Could that innocent person be a child?

hope it backfires on both Rey & Chelsea, as for Adam he won't come out of hiding and if something happens to Connor, Victor will be at the cops back so never doubt that even Chelsea's they are going to far. This is what I think!
I think that Connor will be caught in the crossfire,and get hurt. Chelsea will never forgive Rey or herself.
I think Rey wants to control the women in his life . He isn’t their father he should be supportive yes CB Adam plays on Sharon but she has to see it not Rey she’s a therapist and she feels bad that everyone is against Adam I think she loves V her husband but he wants to run her life too much
I don't want to see the child get hurt. Perhaps Chelsea could jump in and get hurt and go to hospital for both her physical and mental issues. Chelsea definitely needs to now be held accountable for her nasisstic actions, she has got away with this girl nextdoor act whilst being crooked for far too long. Rey needs to be reprimanded and even suspended for his questionable policing. Adam should join Jack and Victor to go after Ashland.
I really don't want Connor to get hurt in this mess that Chelsea has created. This child is innocent and his mother is guilty. Now is the time for Chloe to speak up before Connor is hurt. Why not, let Adam take the bullet, spare Connor's life, have Chloe tell Paul or Victor the truth about Chelsea. Where is Michael Baldwin, he should be questioning Chloe like Victor asked him to do. This is getting old and it needs to be over. There are bigger fish to fry like the "War between the Abbott's and Ashland Locke". While Adam is recuperating from his bullet, let Victoria make Billy a partner. When the deal is done, let Ashland start chipping away at the Cyaxares right from under Victoria. That could be Ashland's revenge against the Abbott's for Kyle's affair with Tara and Victoria for trying to over ride her father in business. Adam become the new CEO of Newman Enterprise steals Cyaxares from Ashland Locke, Victoria and Billy. Give the information to his father, Victor who can now get his revenge from Victoria. Ummm, I wonder where that leaves Lilly, Billy and Victoria?
Rey & sharon better stay together period they are so good for each other & sharon needs to fight like hell to period & the hell with Adam its time adam leaves for good & for ever dont ever come back at all period & keep sharon & Rey together to dam it & chelsea needs to leave to period

Rey needs to go to Miami with his mom. He needs to get rid of his trust issues he has with everyone, especially Sharon. He want to be too controlling. I hope Sharon doesn't stand for it.

I think Rey is a jealous over zealous bully. I hope Sharon tells him if you need to go go because things are never going to be the same for either of them . I don't think that Sharon is still in love with Adam but she does love him on some level and feels she needs to protect him even if it's from himself. Rey has no business working the case in any way ..where is Paul in all of this ? IF anyone gets shot and dies or worse ends up crippled due to Rey's need for revenge and Adam is innocent ..he wants payback for his perceived notion that he is what is wrong with his marriage. I don't think Sharon and Rey should have gotten married in the first place. He is damaged from his first marriage and if he behaved with his first wife the way he is with Sharon it's no wonder he's divorced. He married Sharon knowing how she felt about Adam and he's not even willing to work at his marriage any longer.. I do hope he's leaving the show ..I can hardly bare to watch him now !
Ray, has blinders on when it come to Adam This is stupid to begin with, the person that poisoned is investigating. Where the hell is Paul when you need a good police detective. Is sure isn’t Ray. That is why he should not be doing the investigation, It has to be Adam no one else. Now this with Connor. Adam will take the bullet. Chloe should tell Victor and lock up this nut case . Fire him and send him back to Miami
