The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Rey Rosales’ Storylines

Y&R spoilers reveal that Rey has been involved in many different storylines since being introduced on the CBS soap. Rey is the only member of the Rosales family that is left. Rey has gone through relationships, legal investigations, and was even poisoned by Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Even though Rey and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) seem to have worked through their many issues and are married, the couple seems stagnant. They don’t seem really happy together but aren’t unhappy either. They are just existing and going through the motions.

Rey was involved in saving Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) when the pregnant woman was held hostage by Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan). Now, it seems as if Rey is bonding with Chelsea while Sharon isn’t as upset as she should be. Of course, there is also Rey’s connection to Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) story, too.

I feel both sad and disappointed because I don't think this wonderful actor has really been given the opportunity to really shine on this show. I hope he will be fortunate enough in the future to find opportunities which will really highlight his talents and open doors to better opportunities. I have always been bewildered when new people have been brought in or actors who have left and returned have been given opportunities over actors/characters like JR who have been patiently waiting for a good story to come along for them. I wish JR all the very best for the future.
