The new coupling of Nick with Sally provides fresh plot paths for Morrow’s character to walk on and further entrenches Hope’s former B&B character on Y&R.

Sally was not shocked when Nick told her she no longer employed by Newman Media. The now-former Chief Executive Officer of Newman Enterprises media arm, that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam quickly built from scratch as a standalone company before selling it to the family business, knew she was not given a fair shake from the start.

Staying tied to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is smart. Hendrickson’s character keeps Sally centered and, on practical terms, TPTB need Sally to have a sidekick.

Using her creating talents in a different direction is intentional. Sally wants to start fresh, while rivaling Summer.
