The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Sally And Adam Go Undercover-Under Covers?

The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) might not be able to make his breakup stick with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). It was obvious that he was shooting her a line of bull and once the shock wore off, she knew it; might they take their under covers – undercover?

When Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) said she would fire Sally after Adam quit, he knew he had to do something, and quickly, or Sally would lose her job with Newman Media. Victoria didn’t trust Sally had what it takes even though Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had approved of her – but then, Victoria doesn’t approve of Adam either. Victoria doesn’t approve of anyone at the helm of Newman Enterprises except herself, with her mother Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and other brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) subordinates.

Adam knew this and so he had to make a grand sacrifice, and broke up with Sally, in the process breaking both of their hearts. Adam was nearly in tears himself after he broke up, and told Victoria that they had broken up; in order to save Sally’s job.

Y & R Spoilers: Sally Spectra Saw Through Adam Newman’s Ruse, But She Has Her Job For The Time Being

Sally saw through Adam’s ruse after the shock wore off, and told him if he was breaking up with her so she could keep her job she didn’t want the job. Nick and Victoria were met with Adam in near tears outside the door and Niick saw Sally in tears inside; he wanted to talk to Victoria alone.

They came back a little bit later, Victoria having decided to give Sally a probationary period since she didn’t have anyone in mind to take her place. Sally happily accepted it and assured Victoria and Nick she’d wow them. Adam’s ruse had worked but he had to be terribly cruel to Sally to prove it; it was easy to see he was afraid he’d lost her for good afterwards.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: The Breakup May Not Last For Long, Secretly

Anyone with a pair of eyes can see that Adam and Sally are absolutely besotted with each other – meaning irrevocably soulmate smitten, and won’t be able to stay apart long. It’s a tossup who’ll make the first move to reconcile even though Sally did tell Adam to go to the nether regions. She might go hunt him down and tell him he’s not getting away so fast, and he won’t be able to resist her for very long.

Sally won’t have to go the route she did to hang onto Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) when she was in LA on BOLD, Adam will be much easier to reclaim. But until Sally’s job is secure and Adam’s secret plot is completed, they’ll have to take their relationship undercover.

Y & R Spoilers: Daytime Friends, Nighttime Lovers, Taking Under Covers Undercover

Adam and Sally will have to be daytime friends, or even less, and nighttime lovers, and take their “under covers” undercover until the coast is clear. But sometimes a secret affair can be much more exciting than a romance out in the open, and at least for awhile they’ll have to do it on the down low. But it shouldn’t be too difficult, since that is how they started; the only thing that might complicate it is if Sally forgets to take her birth control. But she’s smarter than that so an accidental Adam bun in the oven won’t be likely.
