Sally and Adam have seemed a match made in heaven, but it may soon be headed for hell in a hand basket when Adam’s dark side comes out. Sally’s had a spate of good luck lately, but her past was fraught with desperation and perhaps a bit of a dark side of her own. Sally confessed her fraught past to Adam, revealing she had been so desperate to hang onto a man that she faked a terminal illness and spent time in a psych ward!

Adam just kind of chuckled and you could tell he was thinking of his own dark past. It was like he was ready to say “You think your past was messed up-wait till you hear mine; you ain’t seen nothing yet!”

Y &R Spoilers – Adam Newman Is Headed For A Fall And Sally Spectra Could Go Down

Adam is headed for a fall, and Sally could go down with him – he is focused on staying CEO of Newman Enterprises, and Sally is sure he will. She has even offered Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) the job of COO of Newman Media so she doesn’t see Adam losing any positions! But Adam has been led on by his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) many times – giving him great jobs when he needed him only to dump him. It seems it’s about to happen again after he took Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) place while she rid herself of Ashland Locke (Robert Newman)! Once more it’s the beginning of the end for Adam, as he was only Victoria’s placeholder until she came back, and he will be angry and bitter!

Adam forever has been trying to prove himself to Victor, and every time he tries to Victor favors Victoria; Sally had encouraged him to not be Victor Jr., but be Adam! Victoria has worn out the Victor Jr. label and now that she’s shed Locke and got the money back Victor paid him to leave-which was Adam’s idea-he’s out again!

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Adam started unraveling in the episode of July 1, and threw his hands up in the air and gave up! Sally pulled him back from despair and encouraged him not to give up just yet, and to quit trying to prove himself to Victor!

Y & R Spoilers – Adam Newman’s Dark Side Comes Out, Can Sally Spectra Handle It?

When something like this happens, Adam’s dark side always comes out – and he’s done some very dark things in the past, including substituting medications Victor needed to beat a deadly disease! The Newmans pulled together and taught Adam a lesson – Victor faked his death and Adam was hit with a guilt trip for causing it. For a time, he had an emotionally dependent relationship on Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) that always made trouble between her and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Adam’s getting ready to spiral downwards again – can Sally handle it; and him, or will she decide she needs to pull away before he destroys everything they’ve built?

When that dark side comes out again, Sally will find herself reconsidering her future with Adam. However, Sally may recall when she spiraled and how the Forrester/Logan family who she was working for all rallied around her to help. She may decide to pay it forward to help Adam and try to get around his stubbornness and anger, even though she will see a side of him she never knew existed.

But Sally will likely be torn as to whether she should stand by her man or stand by her career. In his dark spells, Adam becomes self-destructive and it could destroy their relationship!

      If Victor wasn’t such an ass all the time treating Adam like a pariah and always puffing up psycho slutty conniving brat Victoria. Dang, Victor. Let Victoria and Nicholas pay for their sins, too

      If Victor had any real sense and intelligence he would make Nick CEO. Victoria has almost trashed the company because of her love for Ashland and Adam is no better, promoting his office sex toy to execute status! Thanks to both Victoria and Adam Victor is still $250 million down. No, Nick is the real intelligent choice if Victor was as smart and clever as they make him out to be. Nick would stand a much better chance of handling the siblings and running the business. Nikki should take up knitting because her spangs or whatever they're called obviously cut off oxygen to her brain and her new straight blonde look reminds me of the twins in Hell Boy, I think it was called Golden Army. And if I have to hear another line about Victoria and Ashland I'm going to scream!
