Sally wants something she can’t have, but that doesn’t mean she won’t try to get it! She has been working every angle she can to become CEO of Jabot Collective, a fashion line that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) had told her was sold to Fenmore’s, which is where Sally (Courtney Hope) is working as Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) assistant – basically, she’s a secretary. Sally doesn’t like working her way up from the bottom because she knows it’s the hard way to get anywhere in business!

Besides, it hurts her pride, having been a lead designer over at Forrester Creations in Los Angeles, and the great-niece of a legendary fashion maven, Sally Spectra I (Darlene Conley). Sally and her grandmother Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) had once run the once world-famous fashion house, Spectra Fashions, before it failed sometime after Sally passed away. Sally just has too much ambition to try and climb a corporate ladder from the bottom, she wants to start at the top! She soon finds out that Jack put good words in for not herself, with Lauren, but for his son’s ex-girlfriend, Summer Newman (Hunter King) to run Jabot Collective!

That’s the girl who had the unmitigated gall to not only try to keep Sally from talking to anyone at Jabot, but didn’t even know who Sally was and couldn’t even get her name right! Sally’s offended, so she decides to try her luck with another Abbott – Billy! (Jason Thompson)Viewers know that Summer actually would be a better choice, having worked in Jabot Collective before it was divested.

Y&R Spoilers – Sally Spectra Knows Billy Abbott No Longer Works At Jabot But He Would Know The Inside Track

Sally knows Billy no longer works at Jabot, but he would know the inside track to the top of Jabot Collective, and she’s determined to get it out of him. He was working there when Jabot Collective was under the Jabot umbrella. She needs somebody in the Abbott family to root for her and get her into the running.

She had hoped that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) would be her ticket, but he really wasn’t much help, especially after she found out that he didn’t even get the inheritance that he felt he was due from his late grandmother, Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). She tries her best to get intel out of Billy without him realizing what she’s up to, knowing he’s single and being sexy and flirtatious. But Sally’s not the only one who knows how to work an angle.

Let’s just say it takes one to know one, and Billy quickly realizes what Sally is up to! Billy himself has taken shortcuts and found himself transferred where he couldn’t hurt the company, in a remote office in Hong Kong! Billy busts Sally and very well might tell her that she’s not fooling him, and with Jack and Lauren both, there are no shortcuts! One literally has to work their way to the top, and it has to be earned!
