Sally believed that Adam was her ideal pick. He, like her, was an outsider. She could relate to his many tales of woe. So, they commiserated, found each other attractive, and clicked for a while.

But Adam possesses such a combustible personality type, as his past loves know. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) became Sally’s go-to confidant because of the personal history she shares with Adam,

One of Adam’s other ex-wives, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), finds him impossible. Sally let that knowledge sink in as well while processing the hard break he made from her.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Is Current Mr. Right

Nick is appealing in Sally’s mind. She finds him to be the anti-Adam because he is far more centered and has treated her with respect to date.

The add-ons are noted by devoted fans because Nick has experienced multiple relationship breaks. Some he has been responsible for causing. Others, not as much, if at all.

Is Sally on the rebound from Adam? Of course. Nick knows that. But he, like Sally, also feels a unique chemistry in the fall air. For the moment, he is her Mr. Right.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has mentioned, on more than one occasion, that he does not want Sally to head Newman Media. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) appreciates Sally’s performance but does not appear to think of her as a long-term solution.

By coupling with Nick, Newman Enterprises’ Chief Operating Officer, Sally has another high-profile ally inside the company. Nick does not believe she is using him for cover. But time may alter his perspective on Y&R.
