Sally moved to Genoa City, Wisconsin after everything went wrong in Los Angeles, California. She believed Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) was the right man for her. But he loved Flo Logan (Katrina Bowden).
Wyatt eventually had to tell Sally to stay away from him and Flo. She chose to leave LA and move to the Midwest, as part of another in a series of crossover character exchanges between Y&R and its sister show, The Bold and the Beautiful.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) was the first man Sally fell for. That combination was short-lived and did not become a relationship but the draw to Adam proved strong.

Hope’s character wants to stick with Nick while also becoming friends again with Adam. The personal side of Sally’s life will likely be as challenging as fitting back into the Newman Enterprises cauldron.
But Sally is a survivor. Her resiliency is one reason why so many people have an opinion of her. Nick and Adam share the two strongest outlooks on Y&R.
