The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sally’s Heart Hurting But Jack Takes Her Back, Love Blooms

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) did tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) her dirty backstory. Her tale was a lot to digest, which caused him to put their relationship on hold.

But, as viewers saw, Jack hasn’t ruled love out. He simply decided that he needs time to consider what Sally told him. That’s fair, as she’ll likely come to accept.

One of Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) final acts was to encourage her and John Abbott’s (Jerry Douglas) son to pursue love. That’s the message Jack took from Dina’s hint about the classic Abbott home movie he came to view.

Jack realized that he shouldn’t be battling Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at this point in life. He also realized that it was realistic to be open to love, despite all the strife he’s endured through the years.

So, Sally’s crossover from The Bold and the Beautiful provided the opportunity Jack prepared himself for. Jally or Sack if one prefers, proved to be fun at first.

Y&R Spoilers – Sally Spectra Addicted To Drama

Sally’s story about what happened, or more to the point, what she did in Los Angeles, California, was wild. However, Jack knows that he’s engaged in many ill-advised activities through the years.

Jack’s challenge is to try and determine if Sally is too similar to the personality type he’s fallen for in the past. If Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is right and it appears as though she surely is, then Sally is the new edition of the old school Red.

Sally does appear to fall somewhere in a group of former wives that include Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). No one would compare Hope’s character or any of Jack’s other spouses to his tenderest love, Luann Volien Abbott (Elizabeth Sung). And where is Luann and Jack’s son, Keemo Abbott (Philip Moon), by the way?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Needs To Take Stock

Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) has proved to be a sound confidant. She also serves as the main Genoa City, Wisconsin, colleague who can offer advice about her employee, Sally.

Lauren would be a great match for Jack if she and Michael Baldwin (Christian Jules Le Blanc) weren’t seemingly solid as Likey. Maybe that’s what TPTB have in mind for the near future?

If not, Sally needs to consider her truce with Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and decide if Jack needs to know more about the Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) threat. While that topic would be painful to discuss and create immediate consequences, at least Jack would gain the intel he needs to be fully prepared to defend his family and company. That development could also earn Jack’s grudging respect and elevate Sally to a unique place in his heart.
