The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) feels large and in charge at Newman Media. So much so that she told Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about her knowledge of the fight he had with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
Sally also advised Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) that their positions in the restored Newman Enterprises are secure. Sally told Chloe that Nick was informed about what she knew, mentioning Newman Media’s ability to massage that intelligence whenever it may be useful for him and Newman Enterprises. It was a clever way to send a message to Nick.
Chloe bristled at Sally’s approach because Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart), who works for the Genoa City Police Department, is the source of information.

Sally obtained information about the confrontation Ashland had with Nick, on what proved to be the Lockeness Monster’s last day on this earth, from a very reliable source.
So, it is not that Sally feels confident without merit. She is right to think Nick’s support is driven by his desire to keep Newman Media’s Chief Executive Officer happy.
Considering that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) recently crudely dropped Sally, it is worthwhile to wonder whether Hope’s character will also use her knowledge to pursue his brother romantically.
Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Shares Sensitive News
Nick is single. He has renewed Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) as a close confidant in recent months and took her into his confidence regarding what happened to Ashland on the night Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is questioning.
But Nick sharing sensitive information with Sharon about Ashland and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) cover-up scheme is starkly contrasted with the approach Sally is taking. She is using what Chloe told her to protect her job and potentially expand power.
Morrow’s character is seeking advice to protect himself and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). While angered by Victor’s actions, Nick understands them and does not want to see the Moustache endangered by Chance’s developing case.

Sally paired so well with Adam because they project grandiose ideas about themselves. It appears unlikely that Victor will allow Sally to remain in his company long-term.
While the Moustache appears unaware of Sally’s knowledge relating to Nick, that intel is sure to be obtained. When that happens, Sally’s leverage will likely be reversed.

Sally needs to go it’s only a matter of time before Victor finds out about what’s she is up to and she will be gone at Newman’s she is a snake in the grass
Why would the Newmans let Sally have any type of job at Newman. We keep getting told how Victor loves his family but he treats Adam like dirt and let the scrubber who connived to run his supposedly beloved granddaughter out of town not just keep her job but a job she only got by having sleazy office sex with his son. Nick getting chummy with Sally after the Summer situation is complete nonsense and who would want an aunt like Victoria keeping Sally on payroll! So sick of the lip service storylines. If the Newmans are supposed to be loyal actually write them as such. The same goes for telling us they are intelligent, write them to be, stop keep telling us they are one thing and then writing them as the complete opposite.
