The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Sally’s Victory, Summer Catches Kyle And Tara Together

The Young And The Restless: Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is pushing Eric Forrester (John McCook). She wants him to suggest Summer Newman (Hunter King) for a job in Milan. Her plan just might work because as Sally is pushing Eric, Summer catches Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) getting a little too close for comfort.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sally Spectra’s Milan Scheme

Y&R spoilers reveal that Sally has tried approaching Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). Both times, he was not pleased to deal with her. However, she ignored the huge hints and continued pleading with her case. She even told Ashland where Tara and Harrison Locke (Keller Enriquez) were staying. However, she’s not having much success getting Ashland to help her with the Summer problem.

Sally is now reaching out to Eric at Forrester Creations as he is an investor in Marchetti. While Eric tells Sally that nobody wants to see her again, she pleads for him to hear her out. He doesn’t make a final decision, but the two do have an in-person meeting as well as two video chats. So, Summer just might get offered the Milan job after all.

Y&R Spoilers – Insecurity And Worry

Meanwhile, Summer is filled with insecurity over her relationship. She wants to marry Kyle as soon as possible. She is also not happy that Tara plans on staying in Genoa City. It does make it easier for Kyle to see Harrison if they are both living in the same general area. However, Summer views Tara’s decision as a threat to her relationship with Kyle.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tara Locke’s True Intentions

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Tara is playing a dangerous game. Nobody is really sure of her true intentions. The only people that seem to be buying Tara’s damsel in distress story are Kyle and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). So, Summer isn’t the only one concerned about Tara’s real intentions.

With that being said, Sally approached Tara with an offer. She declined it at first, but she just might end up making an agreement.

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Caught

According to the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, Summer catches Kyle in a compromising position. It has to be him with Tara. Perhaps he gives Tara a hug as she cries on his shoulder. She claims that she’s “holding her own” but is overwhelmed and confused by Ashland’s sudden turnaround. When Kyle offers Tara comfort, Summer will probably walk in. Even though she will accept Kyle’s explanation, it will only make Summer’s insecurity grow. So, when she gets offered a position in Milan, could she actually end up accepting the position?

It seems that it might get to that, especially since Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) also gives Summer a warning about her relationship.

If Summer was the love of Kyle's life, after all they have been through he would be more careful and considerate of her feelings around other women, child or no, it's a pathetic excuse to again poorly treat Summer. No wonder soaps like this are dying out, the Nikki style stories don't fit this generation. Intelligent young women don't let men treat them like Summer and Lilly only women who have poor self esteem and lack of access to education. Yes, perhaps we can all make a mistake or two through the process of growing up but Summer and Lilly are well experienced, so writers stop writing them like brainless bimbos.

I think it is just a matter of time before Kyle realize that he still have feelings for Tara. Too bad Summer, you and your mama are two of a kind and the bedroom is not always the answer. Hope Summer take the job and leave town.

That statement is not all true. There are educate women that get walked all over and taken advantage of. Unfortunately, even today, there are still women who have low self esteem, some are highly educated.

Perhaps what I have written wasn't clear. I did mention women with low self-esteem (who I agree could still be intelligent) can be in unhealthy relationships. My mention of women in negative relationships with lack of access to education was also not intended as any insult to them but to mention the fact that women do benefit not just financially but also often emotionally when they are able to become more aware of what they deserve and informed how to seek help with negative situations. Women are becoming more empowered thankfully with every new generation. However sadly you are right there are still unfortunately some women still caught in this situation, but we should be moving forward embracing womens progress not living in the past constantly portraying young women of this generation like women from the Nikki's generation. Summer and Lilly's stories are lazy, copied from the same 70s/80s scripts Nikki has played. I don't believe Summers character would continue this constant turmoil with Kyle like her mother and grandmother has with their men. As for Lilly, this story is just plain rediculous, Lilly is smart and mature, after her relationship with Cane I don't believe she would go through this similar situation again with Billy.

If I was seeing all the red flags Summer is seeing I wouldn’t want to hurry and marry Kyle.
She’s smart enough to know those flags are a warning she’s standing in the path of a freight train. GET OUT NOW!!

Well said. I love it and you're right. Kyle is a jerk he seem to think that Summer will be there for him regardless how he treats her and Tara acting like shes his wife and Summer is someone that she must give her approval to be with Kyle. The whole story line is not worst the paper it is written on. Summer and Lily both know how to treat a man and not let him get away with leading her on in front of his ex girlfriend. Child or no Child she needs to be put in her place and Kyle right along with her. If Jack has anything to say about it he needs to be put in check living with Tara and her son alone and Kyle can't do his job because he has to do father duty, please give me a break. Kyle needs to be spending more time with Summer and not let Tara push that Child on like that. Kyle and Jack both are walking around with blinders on, they need a reality check. As far as Kyle is concern Tara can do no wrong, but she is wrong trying to get in between Kyle and Summer right in front of Summer's face. Oh, it should have been on when she said that Kyle has to take Harrison to the park like Harrison is more important than Summer. U think!

That will cause them to have low self esteem and it is not the leading cause but it is a part of it. It does contribute to a lot pain in one relationship and Lily and Summer if their parents had treated them poorly and abused them yes they would have low self esteem, however that's not the case her. Thank God, they just need to open there mouths when they see something going on with their man that they do not like and put the woman in check. They need to step up and own their man and not sit back and just let this woman run all over them. They give as good as they get.

  8. Betty Stokes says

You are right. To think of Lily and Summer acting in a negative manner is totally beneath them, however different strokes for different folks. Whatever the situation warrant and right they both are begin treated badly by the ex.'s who continue to be a constant pain and their men let them instead of putting them in their place. No woman will stand up and let her boyfriend ex girlfriend talk to her all kind of ways and at the same time trying to get close her ex. A woman can be highly educated, but when it comes to her man you better know where to step off at, because it will be on like popcorn. You know I'm right. Mom did not raise a fool to let another woman walk off with her man and not do anything. You better think again, women of the 80's 90's, 20's, and 21st century it's all the same when it comes to that man and you know. They will go 60's, 70's on you in New York minute. It doesn't matter how much education they have, honey you better watch your step especially after you got kids by him too and you gonna skin and grin in his face right in front of them, honey you just signed yourself up for some major body damage to be done. They will go ghetto on her in a minute. Honey you better see your way out of his face.

  9. Jezz says

It seems we are on the same page. The writers are trying to tell us one minute these beautiful modern women Summer and Lilly are intelligent and worldly then the write them like behaving like Nikki in the 80's. If the writers want us to believe these characters are the smart women of this generation they try to tell us they are then write them as handling these relationships as such rather than like silly women allowing themselves to be treated badly. Write Lilly and Summer as positive examples for women, not like door mats, revisiting the same broken relationships, stupidly trying to convince themselves things will be different.

  10. Betty Stokes says

Kyle did not have feeling for Tara, this was suppose to be a one night stand. I'm should Tara is hoping that Kyle still have feelings for her. Too bad he doesn't and as for that remark you made about Summer and her mother, you are dead wrong for that, you're wrong! Summer and Phyllis weren't the only ones thinking that eventually Kyle and Tara were thinking that when they jump in the bed. Too bad they for got to use condom and that Tara were a married woman. Now walk a mile in Summer and Lily's shoes's.

  11. Betty Stokes says

Kyle and Tara better watch out Summer will go Victor Newman on them. And they deserve it, especially Tara, Kyle too if he don't watch up and stop these little nasty games he been playing with Tara. Trying to smile like he's Rock Hudson to the women.

I think Phyllis is the snake, not Tara. Time for Phyllis to take a hike. She is horrible on Y&R. Acts slimey, and needs to dress her age. She's old .
