CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) willingness to help Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) matches this one time couple’s history. It may also wink at an eventual Shadam reunion.
Is it possible that Sharon is Adam’s greatest love? Adam did tell Sharon that she knows him like no one else when asking for her to help him unlock his childhood memories.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has arguably been Adam’s number one for many years. But Sharon was his first wife and there was that brief moment when Shadam reconnected while both characters were single within the last year.

Hayden Tank (the child version of Adam) was never shown killing Alyssa Montalvo’s (Maria DiDomenico) father. Y&R’s retrospective storyline was created to enhance Adam’s backstory, meaning that the referenced demise of A.J. Montalvo (no actor’s name known for this role) didn’t occur in real-time back in the day.
The version of this fabled character, which was once played by Michael Muhney (Adam), is the one who had a relationship with Adam. They hadn’t reconnected romantically until the latest recast, Grossman, was written into a love scene with Case.

It’s natural that Adam would seek Sharon’s assistance, as she was the person who was able to establish a bond with Spider. Adam’s alternate persona was actually the front his amnesia-gripped mind presented to the world.
What’s intriguing is that Adam and Sharon know that their relationship was unlike any other they had in their lives. That’s what’s frightened Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) in the past and in mid-August of 2020.

Yes, there is some jealously that’s driving Chelsea to react to Adam’s request that Sharon serves as his therapist. As Case’s character said, there’s something that Adam’s not getting from Chelsea that he feels Sharon uniquely supplies.
The trend of this storyline would imply that Sharon will help Adam achieve a breakthrough. Whether that disrupts the relationship Sharon has been building with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and also derails Chadam’s restored family can’t be known.

Adam will certainly be grateful if he’s able to recall the full details of what happened when he was eleven years old. Whether he feels a spark for Sharon, she rediscovers her passion for him, or both people simultaneously recognize their latent feelings are renewed would make for compelling daytime television.

I think Sharon and Adams story could provide good story material. No love triangle. The story is in the struggle with how their love can survive their differences. Adams dark and Sharon's light watching them struggle with the sides of their personalities which conflict with the others. Sharon doing good and being taken advantage of and Adam seeking revenge for it. Adam doing a dark business deal that Sharon won't approve of and trying to keep her from finding out. I see lots of fresh story potential for these two.
I think that Adam and Sharon will always have a connection and they deeply love each other but they are not IN love with each other. Sharon is the one person Adam has always been able to trust with his life she always was able to calm him down and get through to him. I think because Sharon is much like the mother he deeply loved and lost and apparently killed to protect. Chelsea and Adam don't stand a chance as long as she has this deep seeded jealousy of Sharon and their bond. I hope Chelsea changes her tune quickly or she will lose Adam and I am so over this see saw relationship. Adam needs to heal.
I have a bit of a beef with Nick and the way he's behaving about Adam. Why is it that nobody remembers how Victor protected Nick when he had that party at his home and dared that girl to jump off their poolhouse roof, he could have been charged with having booze and drugs at the party that caused that horrible accident. That was the Doctor that came back and almost destroyed Sharon because of what Nick had done as a teen. He is not without stain on his character and it sickens me that he and Victoria say and do what they do about and with Adam. They need to learn that blood is thicker than water. What Adam did at age 11 was beyond his comprehension and Nick should know that childhood traumas can be stored so far down in my your mind and you don't remember…geeze he had amnesia after an accident as did Victoria !
I think Rey should leave Sharon- she will always drop everything for Adam- Chelsea has a right to be a bit jealous because he wasn’t even going to tell her he went to Sharon. I can see why Vic is mad but imagine if Adam were ur kid and had a bad childhood Victor should try to help because that is his son. Working with Jack and Billy shows she’s being petty about this-
For the sake of Faith's mental health and well being – Sharon needs to stay far away from Adam – hate how they are trying to rewrite history and make Sharon his greatest love – oh please – they just want to film sexy scenes and since they are dating in real life, why not??? STUPID
