CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that an act of kindness could backfire in monumental ways when Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) tries to help angry and upset Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Adam is devastated that his past is coming back to haunt him but it could be coming back in spades if Sharon unleashes the monster within.

Explosive show spoilers reveal that Adam has approached Sharon, the only amateur psychologist in town who has been known to regularly practice without a license, and she agrees to massage his mind. After hearing that Adam has blacked out about a murder he committed, she helpfully suggests she apply a technique she knows to retrieve repressed memories. What could possibly go wrong?

On top of this Adam doesn’t want to tell Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), but Sharon insists that he do so. Once Chelsea gets a load of this cockamamy plan, she warns him against pursuing this foolish idea. Will he listen? Does Adam ever listen to anyone?

In the meantime, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) has a conversation with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) about Adam. One again their convo points to a surefire reckoning about to happen with Adam as she claims he is once again becoming the real Adam Newman and tells Chance that the guy he knew in Vegas, Spider, doesn’t exist anymore. Right!

Spider’s reappearance is almost a sure thing given the way everyone has been talking about him lately, combined with the fact that Sharon is about to either hypnotize him or perform some other whack procedure in order to help him.
