The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Sharon’s Desperation Revealed, Will Do Anything To Keep Adam In GC

CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) desperation appears obvious. She doesn’t want to allow Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to even consider leaving Genoa City, Wisconsin, and is willing to do whatever it takes to help him deal with his self-destructive view of himself.

After providing Adam with a list of other therapists he could see, Sharon changed her mind minutes later and offered to continue working with him. Adam was legitimately threatening to leave town because he’s convinced himself that he’s an irredeemable monster. That’s probably not true, as the audience will come to see.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Blamed Again

Adam seems to think that his father and mother are responsible for him not being able to know right from wrong. That snap conclusion was reached after his memories of the aftermath of A.J. Montalvo’s (Marcus DeAnda) death were realized.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was chided for not making Adam face the consequences of what he’d done. Sharon wasn’t berated but instead told that there was nothing she could do for him, as he was beyond redemption.

Y&R Spoilers – Intriguing Shadam Comeback Story Developing

While it’s not a full-blown comeback and might not turn into one, fans of this one-time top couple are at least being teased with the possibility that Shadam could reunite. Hardcore viewers know that Michael Muhney (Adam) was playing the character more than a decade ago when this duo was married.

Grossman’s version of the character followed Justin Hartley’s (Adam) edition. In this instance, Y&R’s reverse SORAS’ing (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) allows the opportunity for Sharon to be the more experienced half of the potential couple, whereas both characters were approximately the same age years ago. Today’s Adam is in his early to mid-thirties.

Many factors have changed in both people’s lives since they were married. Adam later fell in love with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and had a son with her.

Sharon has become far more independent, which was due in large part to Adam helping her get a mental health diagnosis. Her current romantic interest also seemed to be Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), not Adam.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Is Adam Newman A Good Guy?

Adam’s self-analysis can’t be fully discounted. His reasoning, while overly simplistic does make a point.

Have Victor, Sharon, Chelsea, and others let him off the hook too easily through the years? The answer is likely yes. But he’s responsible for his own actions, which Sharon will hopefully be able to make him recognize, with whatever happens between them.
