Sharon is close with her children, which was also true with the late Cassie Newman (Grimes). Noah is living with his mom, after moving home from Europe. Mariah is planning a wedding, with Sharon being fully involved. Faith is considering colleges while exploring young love, with her mom’s support.

Meanwhile, Sharon’s perceived former rival, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), is developing a crush on Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Transference From Adam Newman

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was the basis of a deep, heated rivalry between Sharon and Chelsea for many years. Sharon is seen as Adam’s most passionate love. But Chelsea is the mother of two of his children.

Chelsea’s place as the mother of Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and Riley Newman (Malachi Barton), who was miscarried, is significant. It will always give Chelsea a special place in Adam’s heart and life.

Sharon told Adam a while back that she was committed to Rey. Adam accepted her decision and moved on to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Chelsea is in the process of accepting Adam’s break from her. So, that is partially why Rey popped up in her dream.

Y&R Spoilers – Bond Is Real Between Friends

Rey considers Chelsea to be an unexpected friend. It is not every day that someone makes peace with the woman who poisoned him as a form of retaliation against his wife, Sharon.

Chelsea’s documented and well-known mental health issues, which Sharon foolishly involved herself in at Adam’s behest, led to Case’s character and Rey reaching forgiveness. This couple concluded that Chelsea was not responsible for her actions because she was in an altered state of mind.

But Chelsea is clear-headed now. Sharon is sure to respond fiercely once Chelsea’s intentions are revealed.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – What Choice Does Rey Rosales Make?

Rey is in love with Sharon. He has been embraced by her children, all of whom consider him to be a stabilizing force in their mother’s life.

But the exploration of temptation is a staple in daytime. So, if Rey feels ignored or slighted by Sharon, then a plausible scenario where he and Chelsea get together can happen on Y&R.

      Its a very different situation between Chelsea and Rey to that of Adam and Sharon. Sharon had been married to Adam so there was the connection before Chelsea came into his life. Chelsea is deliberately creating a connection with Rey thay could easily be avoided. I'm not saying anyone is justified in breaking up a relationship. However it seems worse to me because to deliberately seek out something to ignite a romance where it could be avoided seems wrong. Adam and Sharon have at least tried to avoid their feelings for the sake of Chelsea and Rey. Being a soap obviously things are extreme but there is truth in deep connections even when the relationship doesn't last which is different from seeking it a fresh from someone you know is already married.

      I think Chelsea had a crush on Rey when he took her to Minnesota with her son Connor and after that couldn't stop thinking about him, and right now she is thinking of splitting his marriage up with Sharon cause she spends more time with Nick for their grown up kids I hope Sharon keeps fighting for her husband Rey.

      Chelsea is still as a crazy as a lune and will do anything to upset Sharon whom she hates with a passion. Actually it might be good thing for Rey for there is no passion between he and Sharon they are boring so let the games begin and let Chelsea be the crazy women she really is so that Sharon can now pursue what her heart desires whatever that might be

      Let Chelsea have Rey, there is nothing between Sharon and Rey. He hangs around the coffee house entirely too much and is never at work. What kind of cop is he anyway? Let Nick and Sharon get back together, first true love. Rey is not needed, and he is boring.

      I agree. As characters Sharon and Rey need a story. Also Chelsea needs to go in some direction now she's back. I didn't feel like Chelsea really worked with Nick or Adam, so perhaps we will see more drama with her and Rey.
