The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has again allowed herself to be drawn into Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) life. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) has been extremely leery of his wife’s vulnerability to the former other half of Shadam.

There is no doubt that a part of Sharon’s heart remains occupied by Adam. However, she doesn’t appear to be in love with him. Rather, Sharon seems to feel sorry for Adam and does want Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) to get better. But no one can blame Rey for not being able to see this distinction.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Shadam Again So Soon?

Shadam has been officially over for about a decade. But devoted fans recall that Sharon and Adam did get together at the penthouse when both characters weren’t with their current romantic connections, meaning Rey and Chelsea respectively.

Shey just happened, after a few year build up. While there is plenty of precedent for weddings not lasting forever in Genoa City, Wisconsin, some official breaking of Sharon and Rey’s vows would feel rushed.

So, it’s fair to speculate that Rey will continue to be conflicted by Adam’s presence in Sharon’s life. Doing so will enable ongoing conflict to exist, rather than seeing a near-term break in Shey’s status.

Y&R Spoilers – Sharon Rosales Needs To Balance Efforts

Rey told Sharon on many occasions that she isn’t the only person in the world who is capable of helping Adam. As has been rightly suggested, many other therapists can work with Chelsea.

Yet, it must be said that the particular animus that Chelsea holds for Sharon does appear to be speeding the recovery of Egan’s character. Adam said he wanted Sharon to challenge Chelsea and she is.

Sharon knew that he wanted to use her to antagonize Chelsea, with the goal being to fuel a desire to speak and then move again. This arguably dangerous approach seems to working. But it’s fair to wonder if Chelsea might push herself too hard and suffer a setback, or worse?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Rey Rosales Must Stand Guard

Rey told Sharon that is was her decision as to whether she wanted to help Chelsea and therefore, Adam. Case’s character is rationalizing her involvement in Chadam’s life as necessary and also something that she can handle.

The point of Sharon’s mental health shouldn’t be taken for granted. She’s in the early stages of her therapy career and can’t truly compare this type of first-time experience to any she’s had before. How will Sharon handle any major setback that Chelsea faces, or whatever effects this effort may have on Rey?
