Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless and The Bold and The Beautiful know that Sheila was common to both shows, but Diane and Sheila also have a common thread between the two shows – Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan)! Currently, Deacon is in Los Angeles as is Sheila, but both were in Genoa City years ago, and Deacon was accused of killing Diane after Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) who he was married to at the time was first suspected.

Years later, all of a sudden Diane shows up in Los Angeles using an alias of “Taylor Jensen” and has bought the apparently late Keemo Abbott’s (Philip Moon) house and trying to connect Keemo’s daughter, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) with her grandfather Jack. But where has she been all these years, and why does she show up now-could Sheila have helped her fake her death and hidden her away?

One thing that viewers of The Young and The Restless will note, especially longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless, is that Diane and Sheila are both schemers and more than just a few fries short of a happy meal! It would not be surprising if Diane was laying low, or possibly in a coma for twenty years or so caused by the serious blow from that rock that Deacon delivered – even though there didn’t seem to be a question of her death at the time, Sheila could have helped her.

Sheila has convincingly faked her death many times over the years, she’d have been a great tutor for Diane-as if she needed one. Longtime viewers will remember that Diane burned down a poolhouse with herself inside, trying to get Jack to be the hero and rescue her! Diane and Sheila seem to have so much in common that they could be sisters from different mothers!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins And Sheila Carter; Friends Or Foes?

Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless have to wonder if Diane and Sheila do know each other and if they are friends or foes; they do have so many things in common! Sheila’s son, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) on The Bold and The Beautiful is married to Steffy Forrester, (Jacqueline Maciness Wood), CEO of Forrester Creations, a fashion house. Diane Jenkins started out in Genoa City as a Jabot model, and Sheila has spent time in Genoa City as longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless know.

Perhaps Diane, who has used “Taylor Jensen” as an alias has been doing some work with Forrester Creations over the years, or Sheila and she became acquainted some other way. It certainly seems beyond coincidental that both of these Genoa City schemers have faked their death and then reappeared in Los Angeles alive after many years; viewers cannot help but think that perhaps they are connected!
