The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease there could be a shocking break in Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) murder case. An extra complication has come with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) being found dead, but Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is really alive-could Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) spot her?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Revealed Herself

Phyllis revealed herself to her daughter, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and told her everything that happened and how she killed Jeremy in self-defense. Summer was supposed to keep it a secret even from her brother Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) but she was unable to-even though at first he thought she’d had a breakdown. Summer had to confide in someone about their mother’s horrible plight, and even if Phyllis didn’t trust him to be able to keep the secret he will.

According to Y&R spoilers, Daniel completely agreed that Phyllis couldn’t reveal herself and come clean to the police, no matter how she spun it. She’d be arrested on sight and her problems would be even worse, culpable for fraud and conspiracy, and other crimes.

Y & R Spoilers – Sharon Rosales Would Be Fair

Sharon and Chance are trying the waters of dating, so Sharon is even more interested in making sure he succeeds at his police work. She understands completely his frustration with the “Newman Machine” that often frustrates Genoa City police from doing their work, participating in many cover ups. She was part of that world and that family for many years, even though neither she nor her first husband Nick Newman (Josh Morrow) liked the duplicity.

However, since Sharon also had a complicated relationship with Phyllis since Nick’s affair that produced Summer, she’d be the first one to out her if she spotted her. However, since Phyllis was right there for her during her battle with breast cancer, she’d also be fair-and try to help if she could for what must have been traumatic.

Since Phyllis is likely to be sneaking around town possibly in a disguise to meet Summer and maybe Daniel in secret-there’s a chance Sharon might spot her. Chance already made Summer uncomfortable when he questioned her again about her mom after Phyllis revealed herself, and if Summer would trust her, Sharon could be a great help in that. Sharon, a trained therapist could offer to help work something out where Phyllis could get the help she so obviously needs and Chance would back that up.
