The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) might lose in more ways than one. Melissa Ordway’s character Abby Newman-Abbott had some serious worries when she initially learned that Devon had decided to take his fight for Hamilton-Winters to court.

Devon is accustomed to getting his way, so when someone challenges him, he threatens them. The same scenario occurred during the custody drama with Dominic Newman, Abbott, Winters, and Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware). Devon entered into a formal contract to donate his sperm to Abby but then changed his mind.

Abby and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) gave in after Devon fought for visitation rights as Dominic’s biological father to avert a contentious legal dispute. Finally, Chance and Abby came to the conclusion that it was the best result for Dom.

Since Devon signed all the agreements and consented to this merger, the situation is well known. Devon wants leaving now that things aren’t going his way. The difference is that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) isn’t ready to give up like Abby was, and that undoubtedly has an impact on the ending. Devon was cautioned by Abby to be ready to lose, but he wouldn’t even consider it a real option.

The conflict with Devon will worsen because Lily has sworn to stand behind Jill in this legal battle. Devon and Lily will come to a deadlock that could fundamentally alter the nature of their sibling relationship. Although Devon and Lily have always managed to sort things out in the past, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) reminded Devon not to take it for granted.

Lily and Devon appear to be preparing for a significant argument that could endure for some time. Once everything is all over, Devon might decide to stop considering Lily to be his sister and wash his hands of this connection.
