The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Sibling Showdown, Devon And Lily’s IPO Fight

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease there will be a sibling showdown when Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) fight. The subject of whether to sell Hamilton-Winters stock to the public, also called an “IPO” will come to a head, and there’ll be a very strong disagreement between the two.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Many Coming After The Company

There have been many coming after the company, including family members with devious plans, such as when Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) leaked information to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

That particular plot was thwarted by Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) before Victoria could move to buy out all the stock, with the IPO being cancelled. Even Devon’s father, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) had tried to come after the company, even though it was so he could give it Devon to run.

Devon put his foot down regarding Tucker’s idea, but now Lily and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) want to go through with the IPO again, and Devon disagrees. He thinks from a business standpoint, it is just not a good time to proceed with something like that.

Y & R Spoilers – A Buy Back

Devon makes his own proposal to Lily and Jill, that he buys back his part of the company so they can all move forward. Devon thinks that is the best idea, feeling that if he does that, they’ll all get what they want out of the deal. He understands that if they do, they’ll in essence be starting from scratch again, and that he’s in a sense exiling himself.

Devon would go back to being on his own, like he was before he met the Winters family, but that is what he wants in order to save his father’s legacy. Devon then attends a meeting with Lily but she shares Jill’s decision, feeling that splitting the company now would weaken the IPO.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – No One Wants A Public Fight

No one wants a public fight, that would not be good for either side, but Devon is upset that his proposal is being outright rejected for the bottom line only. Devon argues with his sister that this will cause things to become very ugly, which is something that no one wants. But Lily agrees, they do not need to have a public fight, because that would certainly only make things worse, and pitches an alternate plan Jill endorses.

Devon is surprised by that, and the plan is quite elaborate, which also surprises him. Lily thinks it’s a win win for both sides, and asks Devon to really think about it, but after she leaves he’s even more doubtful.
