The Young And The Restless spoilers suggest that Summer Abbott (Alison Lanier) wants nothing to do with Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) matron-of-honor offers. Summer may cruelly reject Diane’s request, blaming her for Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) legal woes.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Summer Abbott And Kyle Abbott’s Marriage Is In Trouble

The Young and The Restless spoilers reveal that Diane suggested Summer be her matron of honor before Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer’s marriage hit the rocks. However, Kyle has even turned Summer over to Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) telling him that she is helping Phyllis hide out from the cops. Now Summer is under suspicion as well.

Kyle even went as far as to go to the Athletic Club with Chance to Phyllis’ room there only to find her gone. However, Kyle didn’t hesitate to reveal that Phyllis was there with Summer who had known she was alive for some time. Kyle even knows that Phyllis approached Summer instead of Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei).

Kyle is furious that Summer didn’t protect his mom when she found out that Phyllis was alive and well. After all, Diane was in jail for something she didn’t do. Why should Kyle have any sympathy for Phyllis when she tried to frame his mother for murder? Kyle simply does not believe he can forgive his wife for allowing his mother to be held in prison instead of telling the truth.

Diane will continue to trash-talk Phyllis and that will eventually set off Summer. Summer is tired of Diana’s innocent act because in her mind, if Diane had stayed away, none of this would have happened. Diane has stolen the life that Phyllis wanted and that drove Phyllis to do the things she has done. Phyllis would never have done this if she hadn’t been desperate.

Summer has simply had enough. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle act as though Diane is a saint even though she was gone most of Kyle’s life. Diane came to town scheming with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). However, Diane was forgiven for everything she has done in the past and continues to do while Phyllis has been continually ridiculed.

Summer just cannot hold her tongue any longer. Summer tried to be fair when both Phyllis and Diane worked at Marquette. Summer even fired her mother over Diane’s continuous complaints. All of this lead to Phyllis faking her death in the first place. Phyllis was vulnerable and very easily manipulated by the man Diane had set up for robbery.

Summer will have no problem putting Diane in her place after she delivers this matron of honor offer and likely turn down any offer to be anywhere near her wedding.

After all, Phyllis should be the one marrying Jack, not Diane. Summer is tired of walking on eggshells to keep the peace with Kyle over his mother who has done wrong too. Will this drive a bigger wedge between Kyle and Summer?
