The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) may be beginning her villain arc very shortly. She has had a dramatic change in personality lately and is acting more and more like her mother.
Just what every woman wants to hear! However, in her case, it’s the truth and even Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has been hyping her up about doing something to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Summer Newman Chance Chance Chancellor?
However, the big story is her wanting more custody rights over Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) which seems ridiculous. She was a stepmother for barely any time and has no biological connection to Harrison.
Kyle Abbott (Micheal Mealor) was a saint for letting Summer see him at all. However, this hasn’t been enough and now Summer is planning something.
Summer and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) have not been dating that long, but we think that Summer is going to attempt to use this relationship to her advantage.
To her, maybe she sees Kyle hiring Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), a woman who was recently released from a mental institution, as a weakness to exploit.
Kyle’s home life isn’t stable and he allowed Claire to be the nanny to Harrison. This probably would sound like terrible news in front of a judge but on the other side, Summer could present herself as a responsible businesswoman who is in a stable relationship… or even marriage.
Y&R Spoilers – Summer Newman Chance Chance Chancellor Marriage
Remember, they haven’t been dating long at all, but what if Chance and Summer get married to help Summer’s odds of winning a custody case?
She would be able to show that she can maintain a better household and lifestyle for a small child and Harrison would have both a male and female looking after him.
Of course, this sounds absolutely crazy, but let’s not forget how Summer has been acting lately and taking notes from her mother.
Surely, we don’t need to remind you just how wild Phyllis can get! If this custody thing does go to court, we’re in for one of the strangest cases ever and who knows, Summer may even win!
What do you think? Is there any chance that Summer takes this to court and would she try to pressure Chance into marrying her to help her custody case? Share your thoughts and remember to keep watching the CBS soap to see what happens next.

How can Summer have any rights to Harrison, She should of went to jail for not telling the truth about her mother faking her death which caused the divorce in the first place. Kyle have so much dirt on her and her mother he could destroy them. He is the biological father and should be the one to raise his son. Summer is just tripping and need to stay out of his business
Summer is just jealous and is using Harrison to hurt Kyle
Did I miss how Summer admitted to knowing her mother was alive, while Diane was in jail? Or that she lied to Chance about this?
Chance is gullable where comes to summer she doesn’t exactly tell the truth. Chance should find out how much she lied and dump her. Summer has no rights to Harrison. She can’t adopt Harrison either not when Tara hasn’t given up her rights of him. Nikki was right about Diane she got everything she wanted.
I don’t think Summer would have to much to stand on. It’s not like Kyle is abusive or neglecting his son and since Kyle is his real father it would make no sense that Summer would win, plus his biological mom is still alive. It would not make any sense.
Summer loses everything in court Big Time!
I guess that as nuts as Summer is, the could make Kyle out to be a bad neglectful father. I suppose children’s services would get involved and the fact that Claire was in the crazy house will add to Summer’s arsenal. She is pathetic. Every time she calls him her “son” I yell at her but she doesn’t listen for some reason. 🙂
Kyle needs his child, dump Summer the spoiled brat. Kyle is doing what is right. Summer has no rights to Harrison.
