The Young and the Restless Spoilers– Phyllis Summers Calls Kyle And Summer Newman Out
In Monday’s (January 2) episode, Phyllis visits Summer to discuss their relationship. She didn’t like how they left things, so she came over to talk. As she was leaving, Diane walked in with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), stunning Phyllis.
At first, Phyllis asked Diane if she had returned to Genoa City. She believes Summer’s story is that Diane fled to escape Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). However, Phyllis quickly discovers that Diane never left town, which means Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer lied to him.
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Phyllis rants that they are letting Diane call all the shots, and someone needs to put their foot down. Of course, they dismiss her concerns about Diane. Finally, Phyllis says that she’s upset because they lied to her. She tells Summer that it’s not right, and she knows it.

When Phyllis leaves, Jack and Kyle try to dismiss Phyllis’s concerns. Summer refuses to let them trash her mother and lets them know Phyllis is important to her.
Y&R Spoilers– Summer Newman Comes Unglued
During the week of January 2, Summer meets with Daniel Romalotti, Jr (Michael Graziadei) to vent about the Diane situation. She reveals that she went along with Diane, Kyle, and Jack to protect her marriage, but enough is enough.
Y&R spoilers say that Summer reveals that Diane keeps lying to Kyle and Jack. She’s beginning to think her mother was right about Diane. Now, she’s unsure what to do because going against Diane will put her marriage on life support.

Daniel offers his sister support and encourages her to discuss her concerns with Kyle. Summer worries if she does that, he will get defensive about Diane. For Summer, she feels she is in a no-win situation.
