The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Summer’s Unforgiveness, Phyllis’ Revenge Backfires?

The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) has been able to go with the waves of everything lately, including Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) mother, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) returning to Genoa City.

While it’s been a huge adjustment for everyone (understandably so), Summer has done everything she can to support her husband and form a relationship with his mother after all these years he believed she was dead. She’s asked for the same from her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), but she hasn’t been able to chill out.

Ever since Diane stepped foot back in the city, Phyllis has been on attack mode and it’s been easy to follow her as she makes her way through everyone in town trying to recruit allies to take Diane down. While there have been some that have signed on, including Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), even they have begun to argue and throwdown.

Phyllis has not been having the best luck with her plans and they continue to backfire, and that’s why her biggest revenge plot will backfire. She’s blinded by her own hatred. Even if Diane is hiding something, the way Phyllis has been going about it has been the wrong way to do it, and an easy way to not get people to listen to you.

Y&R Spoilers – Summer Newman To Side With Diane Jenkins?

We’ve seen Summer tell her mother countless amount of times that she needed to relax and back off, but she continues to go hard. Now, I think Summer will have finally had enough and warned Diane of what’s coming.

This will completely derail anything Phyllis has planned as her own daughter will rat her out and tell Diane behind her back. This will allow Diane plenty of time to dodge or counter Phyllis’ attack. A mother and daughter duo that was once unbreakable may come to a screeching halt shortly and there’s nothing that Phyllis can do to stop it other than listen and back off.

I think we all know how that is going to go though, and Phyllis will be left with no one in her corner. It’s sad that she’s been so short-sided and angry with Diane. It’s going to be even worse if Phyllis is right about Diane because it will be like the boy who cried wolf. Phyllis will have cried wolf too many times by the time Diane finally does what she’s planning.
