The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that while Summer Newman (Hunter King) is in L.A., Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) decides to head to New York. He plans to check out the claim that he has a son. However, he doesn’t get to the airport because Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) is standing in the Grand Phoenix lobby. She threatens Kyle and warns him to back off.

Y&R spoilers reveal that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) told Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) a huge secret about Kyle. He had an affair with a married woman named Tara, whose husband is none other than brutal businessman Ashland Locke. Unknown to Kyle, Tara ended up pregnant and her son, Harrison Locke, is now three years old. However, Kyle doesn’t know if the story is really true or not. But he has to know so he wants to talk to Tara directly.

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, Kyle comes face to face with Tara in the Grand Phoenix lobby. Seeing the woman he was once in love with brings Kyle back to their time together. However, any fuzzy feelings soon evaporate due to Tara’s anger. She doesn’t want her life blown up and doesn’t want it affecting Harrison either. Tara tells Kyle to leave the baby bombshell alone or Ashland will “crush” him.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that he can’t just walk away from a child that might be his. He wants to get a paternity test to find out for sure if Harrison is his child or not. He informs Tara that he will get the DNA test with or without her cooperation. The actor told the magazine,

“Kyle has a big sense of family and he’ll fight for anything that’s Abbott. He’s not backing down because he wants to know if he has more family out there. Of course, Tara doesn’t want that to happen, so this won’t be easy.”

Tara must realize that she can either quietly get the DNA test like Kyle wants or it can be loud and messy. If it’s the latter, then Ashland — and everyone else — will find out the truth. While secrets never stay buried forever on soaps, it sounds like Tara needs to prepare before her husband learns the truth. Just how serious is she about Kyle being “crushed” if Ashland were to ever know the truth? Just how dangerous will this storyline get for Kyle, as well as for Summer? We will have to keep watching the CBS soap to see how this story develops over the next few weeks.
