Tara’s marriage has collapsed. That’s what enabled her to shock Summer.

Summer didn’t envision Tara and Harrison relocating to Genoa City, Wisconsin. She was likely thinking that the boy would visit Kyle during planned stays.

So, Tara’s tell to Summer that she thinks it is best for Harrison to live near his father (Kyle) opens what could be a new plot path. Leiner, Enriquez, and or Burgi could become major cast members, rather than Tara, Harrison and Ashland simply being brief or even recurring characters.

Fans know that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will back her daughter. They saw Red warn Ashland, in no uncertain terms, in that regard.

Intriguingly, Summer will also seek advice from Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). She has plenty of useful family experience to offer.

Summer knows that Kyle loves her and wants to marry. She has been and remains fully supportive of Harrison. If he truly is Kyle’s son, then Summer will become a positive stepmother figure.

But King’s character projects as having to fight to keep Skyle in place and then handle whatever the future may bring with Tara potentially in it.
