‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Theo And Lola Back On? – Tola’s Demise Reversed

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) appeared to be over. There was also a time when it seemed that both actors were leaving the cast.

The production shutdown that took place from mid March into July stretched the needed answers to these important show points. But thankfully both solid actors and the intriguing characters they portray are back in Genoa City, Wisconsin.  Whether Tola is back on is a worthy question to explore.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lola Rosales Back From Florida

It appeared as though Calle was gone. Buzz about her departure from the cast, or possible drop to recurring status, along with Lola’s on-screen developments sent her to Miami, Florida.

The gist was that Lola was opening her dream restaurant in the city where she was born. So, she left to check on a construction issue in the spring and just returned to town in mid August.

Lola told Theo that her trip was disastrous. She realized that it was time to let that particular dream go and come back to GC to restart her life.

Y&R Spoilers – Theo Vanderway On The Upswing

Theo was thrilled to learn that the woman he’s smitten has returned. Just prior to that reveal another interesting thing happened.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) made genuine amends with Theo. He approached him at Society, the setting where all referenced characters and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) were written into.

Theo and Kyle had an honest conversation that ended with Mealor’s character wishing Theo well. Kyle’s comment about them having once been good friends and the mutual acknowledgment that Jabot wasn’t a good fit for Johnson’s character appeared to indicate that tensions between both guys have truly passed.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tola To Be Realized?

Theo’s feelings for Lola were expressed in the past, which created natural tension for Kola at the time. Lola’s divorce from Kyle happened awhile ago. She previously let Theo know that she has a romantic interest in him and told Theo that she missed him while she was in Miami.

Here’s hoping that Y&R is in the process of pursuing the realization of Tola. Both characters can build off their friendship, aren’t bound by other personal ties, and have the spark of chemistry. As long as Lola and Theo are willing to work, Tola can happen.
