Theo (Tyler Johnson) and Summer talk together in Society, where Summer (Hunter King) is warning him his lawsuit could be considered frivolous. He had just made a call to his attorney, Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) wanting to know how much of a chance he had of winning. Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that he was suing the Abbott family for Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) entire estate after he was only left a fountain pen that was supposed to go to his late father. As a result, the family had talked together and decided to offer Theo something – the Jabot fashion business in Paris, France.

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) had once offered to give Theo a job and take him back to Paris with her when it was first revealed he was a previously unknown grandson. His father had been Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) older brother and Dina’s oldest child. Theo had felt slighted that no one thought to let him know his grandmother was dying, did not give him a chance to say goodbye, and certainly didn’t include him in the reading of her will! There were times as Dina had struggled with Alzheimer’s’ that Theo had been the only one to get through to her. He seemed to have a way to her heart that bypassed her mind, and that is why he felt so left out.

Y&R Spoilers – Summer Newman Continues To Try And Dissuade Him From Continuing The Lawsuit

Summer continues to try and dissuade Theo from moving forward with the lawsuit and warns him that he could very well lose. She tells him that she never thought of him as stupid and hopes he won’t prove her wrong! He complains to Summer about the tiny business in Paris that he was offered, and that Dina had not actually left anyone in her will. It was just a placating move and an afterthought by the Abbott family and Theo himself feels like an afterthought.

Summer continues to try to get him to back down, telling him he has a ready-made career in fashion in Paris; it’s the dream of most people that would come true for him! She asks him why wouldn’t he want to live out the premise of a romantic comedy running a fashion business in Paris, the hotbed of all Parisian couture? She continues to try and talk some sense into the stubborn Theo. She asks him why he is so determined to make his life into a courtroom drama? Summer accuses him of having a pie in the sky dream about Dina’s estate and that his insistence to sue for the entire estate isn’t based on what he feels he is entitled to, it’s based on greed! Theo thinks Kyle put her up to a mission to get him to drop the lawsuit!

They argue some more, then Summer leaves. Brittany arrives. She warns him that the lawsuit is a long shot, and he must come off as genuine and not just an opportunist after a fortune to impress the judge! Brittany also warns him if he turns down the Abbotts’ offer that he will probably lose! He leaves the restaurant and returns later and again seeks out Summer- she brings up Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). He tells Summer that Sally is a shark, and she’ll use anything including Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to up her game! Viewers will have noticed Sally’s already flirting with Kyle!
