For newer fans who may not know the full history here, allow us to catch you up. Because this woman has one of the most unhinged track records in daytime history, and it deserves to be celebrated.
She Kissed Summer With Peanut Butter To Put Her In A Coma
When Patty returned to Genoa City in 2009 under the alias Mary Jane Benson, complete with a brand new face, she was doing reasonably well at holding herself together.
Then she found out Jack was involved with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), and things went sideways fast.
Upon learning that Phyllis’ young daughter Summer had a severe peanut allergy, Patty ate a peanut butter cookie and deliberately kissed the little girl on the lips. Summer went into a coma.

Patty then tried to frame Phyllis for doing it herself. Just let that sink in for a moment.
To make things even crazier during this entire period, Patty was walking around Genoa City with her dead cat, Mr. Kitty, in a little bag. Mr. Kitty had been taxidermied after his death, and Patty treated him like a living companion, talking to him, feeding him milk, and sharing her plans with him!
She Crashed A Wedding In The Bride’s Dress
Back in 2011, Patty again returned, this time as a housekeeper named Myrna Murdock working in the home of Jack’s girlfriend Genevieve Atkinson.
She drugged both Jack and Genevieve at Thanksgiving dinner so she could kiss an unconscious Jack. Yes, it’s as creepy as it sounds. When that was not enough, she threw acid in Adam Newman’s face for trying to stop her.

When Jack proposed to Genevieve, Patty stole the wedding dress, walked down the aisle, lifted her veil to reveal herself, and shot Jack in the stomach. She has now shot Jack on multiple occasions.
She Knocked Out Her Own Therapist And Married Jack In Her Place
When Patty’s psychiatrist, Dr. Emily Peterson, arrived in Genoa City, the universe delivered a delicious twist: Emily looked exactly like Patty, because Patty had used Emily as the template for her plastic surgery. Jack eventually fell for Emily and proposed.
Patty’s response was to knock Emily unconscious, lock her in a hospital morgue drawer, dye her own hair brown, and walk down the aisle in Emily’s place.
Jack said “I do” to Patty, thinking she was Emily. It took months before anyone figured it out. Surprisingly, one of the more mellow plans that Patty has ever pulled off.
