This Storyline Is Giving Fans The ‘Ick’
And if you guessed it to be the relationship between Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Let’s just say that there are very few The Young and the Restless fans that are loving this pairing right now.
In fact, it seems like there are many people who downright loathe it and it seems like they’ve got their reasons for it, too.
And that’s not just because of their age difference. After all, there have been plenty of May and December relationships on the soap. And it’s also not because of the fact that their families are so intertwined.
Instead, it’s because this pairing just seems to be so out of place and without any real chemistry for many viewers.
Some Y&R fans even commented on the matter with, “Kyle said he’s planning on making Victor pay so I’m wondering if hooking up with Victoria is the first step of his plan.”

Another critic wrote, “Just as icky as I think they are trying to pair Stephanie and Nate. Wtf is this fascination with these type couples? Don’t forget Noah and Sienna. All these couples are BOGUS.”
“Honestly, the slower it moves, the worse I feel about it. And Claire is 10 meters away this time.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Honestly, I don’t mind. We have to deal with an age difference between Billy and Sally, Jack and Sally etc. let the ladies live it up! Let’s cougar things up.”
“I like it and I think they’re an interesting couple . Nobody seems to care if it’s a man and a younger woman.”
