One thing that could spell disaster for one couple out of this impending Chancellor-Winters merger is Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) podcast problems. Talking out many of his personal problems on the podcast may be therapy for him, but he feels like he and it are a failure. Longtime viewers know that Billy has always had this restlessness about him, and when he becomes bored many times he gets himself in trouble.
Billy’s restlessness and boredom with the everyday dull life with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) could spell their downfall, even though he plays at being content. When someone is addicted to drama and distress in their life, they tend to go for the wild and the dangerous, and Lily runs from that kind of thing!
Y & R Spoilers – Billy Abbott Wants To Be The One In Charge
Billy wants to be the one in charge, but instead his work life is as a subordinate role to Lily – and she seems to be on a power trip! This situation could bring her into conflict with her brother Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) soon available, Billy could gravitate back to her! Billy was one of the first to smell a great big rat in Ashland Locke, (Robert Newman) and one of the first to try to rescue Victoria from him. When Billy and Lily were first becoming involved, Victoria seemed to be trying to insinuate herself between them every chance she got! Billy’s willingness to be her shoulder again could cause problems between Billy and Lily!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Imani Benedict Is Flirting With Nate Hastings
Imani Benedict, (Leigh-Ann Rose) Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) younger sister, has already been flirting big time with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). That could cause problems between Nate and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) who already doesn’t like Nate’s leaving the world of medicine for the business world! Nate and Imani will be thrown together constantly during this merger, where they will be working on the same team!
If Nate and Elena break up, that could make her long for the love of Devon, who has been involved with Imani’s sister Amanda! Viewers can imagine the fireworks that will cause between the sisters, with Amanda left out in the cold –well, there’s always Billy on the other hand!

If this merger sends Billy running from Lily, then who would Lily wind up with? There aren’t but so many single men around Genoa City! Victoria and Amanda might fight over Billy, might Lily and Imani fight over Nate? Devon’s her brother so that certainly wouldn’t work, and Cane Ashby’s (Daniel Goddard) not an option-who knows where he is? Lily’s too smart to fall for the Locke Ness Monster’s games, and besides, he has eyes for no one but Victoria! It sounds like Y & R needs to even out the playing field and bring in a few more good men!
