Y&R spoilers for Thursday, August 3 reveal that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is out of town. While Victoria is away, Nikki will have a chat with Nate.

Of course, Nate will try to butter up Nikki by smothering her with faux compliments. Nikki won’t be fooled, though. In fact, Nikki strikes back by asking Nate if he loves Victoria.

The question from Nikki is blurted out after Nate talks about running Newman Enterprises alongside Victoria one day.

So, Nate has already made his end game clear. Now that Nikki knows that Nate is focused on running the Newman empire, she wants to be clear about his feelings for Victoria. Of course, everyone doubts Nate’s real feelings.

With Nikki’s question, though, Nate will be caught off guard. It forces him to rethink his long-term strategy.
