The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, January 7: Billy & Lily Argue – Summer & Kyle Head To Los Angeles – Amanda’s Intense Confrontation

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, January 7, tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will pay Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) a visit at his penthouse, updating him about how her birth mom Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) stood her up. Amanda will be upset, and Devon will do his best to offer her support.

Meanwhile, at the Grand Phoenix, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will prepare for her upcoming trip to Los Angeles in her suite as Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) stands by. Kyle won’t think it’s such a great idea for Summer to go snooping into Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) past, but Summer will want Kyle to go with her. Kyle will refuse.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam Newman Blasts Billy Abbott

Next on Y&R, over at Chancellor Communications, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will rush in to gripe at Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Adam will be upset because reporters have been bugging him for comments on Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) condition. Adam will blame Billy for Chelsea’s condition, leading Billy to deduce that Adam’s the one who cut the power to the building, resulting in Chelsea’s fall.

Adam will storm out after telling Lily that he doesn’t want Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to know about Chelsea’s condition. Billy will consider doing a story on Chelsea, but Lily won’t agree. Amanda will arrive mid-argument and side with Lily on not doing a story on Chelsea. Lily will angrily accuse Billy of being obsessed with Adam, and Billy will leave in a huff.

Adam will return to his penthouse, where he’ll welcome Dr. Lena Cavett (Dana Sparks), who will be overseeing Chelsea’s therapy and recovery. Later, Adam will reassure Chelsea that they’ll weather this storm together as a team. Connor will call Adam, and when he asks about his mother, Adam will say that Chelsea is sleeping and that she’ll call him later. Chelsea will look upset.

At Jabot, Sally and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will banter happily, sharing some stories about some of their past escapades and embarrassing moments. Later, once Sally is gone, Summer will arrive and she’ll notice that Jack seems a little too fond of Sally. Summer will realize that Sally has won Jack over, and she’ll be horribly upset.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle Abbott Senses Danger With Sally Spectra

Next on The Young and The Restless, back at the Grand Phoenix, Sally will run into Kyle in the lobby, and she’ll immediately start turning on the charm and working Kyle. Kyle will realize what Sally’s doing as Sally rambles on about how she sets out to get what she wants, and so on. Kyle will be unnerved.

While this is going on, Billy and Jack will see each other at Society. Jack will wonder what’s wrong with Billy, and Billy will share that he’s got too much hatred for Adam and that he needs to let it go. Billy will realize as he’s talking that his feelings for Adam are getting in the way of some of the good things in his life. Billy will tell Jack that there’s something important that he doesn’t want to lose.

Sally will then walk into Society, and she’ll see Jack from afar. On her way over to talk with Jack, Sally will get a call from her sister Coco Spectra (Courtney Grosbeck), who will be calling to see how things are going for Sally. Sally will report that things are going surprisingly well as she peers across the room at Jack.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy Abbott & Lily Winters Make Peace

Next on Y&R, Lily will show up at Billy’s suite at the Grand Phoenix. Lily will apologize, as will Billy, for their earlier argument. Billy will say that he’s got a blind spot when it comes to Adam and that it needs to stop. Billy will institute a “no more stories about Adam” policy at Chancellor Communications, and he and Lily will agree to navigate their working relationship carefully as they make up happily.

Meanwhile, in the lobby, Summer and Kyle will meet up, and Summer will share that Jack has been completely snowed by Sally. Kyle will say that he had an unsettling interaction with Sally earlier, and that he now wants to go to Los Angeles with Summer and find out who the real Sally is.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Amanda Sinclair Has A Shocking Confrontation

In Amanda’s suite, Amanda will leave Naya another voicemail saying that she knows that this is difficult and confusing, but that she doesn’t want to lay blame – she just wants to talk. Someone will knock on the door, and Amanda will open the door to her half-sister Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose), who will promptly tell Amana to leave her mother alone.

Finally, on Thursday’s new episode of Y&R, Devon will have a dream in which he thinks he sees Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) standing in his penthouse, but it will turn out to be Amanda. In the dream, Amanda will remove her blouse, and then Devon will wake up suddenly.
