'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers Thursday, July 17: Lily’s Proof, Chance’s Complicated Investigation, Nick's HorrorThe Young and the Restless spoilers are in for Thursday, July 17, 2025! In the next episode, fans can expect Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to start his investigation into Damian Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers) death.

Meanwhile, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) hands over evidence. Keep reading and let’s talk about what is coming up in the CBS soap opera. (Make sure to check out our WEEKLY Y&R spoilers, here!)

Nick Newman’s Horror

Let’s begin with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who discovered a bloody knife in the bathroom. Despite almost everyone knowing each other, Chance will have to at least consider the fact that Nick might be guilty. It wouldn’t be a very fair investigation if Chance didn’t look at everyone equally.

Of course, fans know that Nick is innocent. However, if Chance is going to solve this crime, he has to look at all the possibilities.

Cane Ashby’s Complications

Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) seemed truly horrified and shocked by Damian’s death. Cane told Chance that someone was going to try and kill him by the end of the party. Instead of Cane being stabbed, Damian ended up taking the hit.

Some people will think that Cane is responsible. However, he will continue to maintain his innocence. It might also require Cane to be fully truthful and stop playing these secretive mind games with everyone.

Phyllis Summers’ Betrayal

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that tomorrow’s episode will also feature Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) possibly making a bold move.

Cane asked Phyllis if she would be willing to betray Nick or Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Red said she would do that for Cane, so she might try to prove that by throwing Nick under the bus.

Remember, Nick was by the hedge when the killing took place. Then, Nick ran off and Phyllis saw Damian’s body. So, it wouldn’t be hard to see Phyllis blaming Nick. If Nick doesn’t have an alibi, then he will have a hard time proving his innocence.

Lily Winters’ Evidence

On Thursday, July 17, fans will also see Lily provide some evidence to Chance. This could make Nick’s problems even tougher as he tries to clear his name.

Lily cared about Damian, and she will want the person responsible to be punished. However, will Nick end up getting the blame when the killer is likely someone much closer to Cane?

Back in Genoa City, fans also might see Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) make some bold moves. There should also be some developments on Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Claire Grace Newman’s (Hayley Erin) grief.

Which storyline are you looking forward to seeing the most on Thursday, July 17, 2025?

  1. […] Given that the killer hurled the dagger from afar, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) suspects he might have been the intended victim. According to Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) evaluation in the episode aired on July 15, he appears to agree with Cane’s hypothesis. […]

Well, I can honestly say this trip to Nice is getting a little boring. I had looked forward to it but it’s gone on too long. All they do is hang around and eat and drink and fight. Nicki is her usual hawty self. She has gotten too good at that. They all need to just go home. They are all going a little stir crazy and Nick is losing it. It’s no longer fun to watch.
