The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s Concern

Y&R spoilers reveal that nobody has heard from Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) for a while. Victor knows something’s gone wrong in Peru and has his team searching for answers.

Meanwhile, Lauren has a bad feeling and Michael isn’t returning any of her messages. Understandably, Lauren is concerned and as time goes on without any word from Michael, she could begin to fear the worst.

Y&R Spoilers – Victor Newman’s Secret

Fans already saw that Lauren opened up about her concerns about Michael to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Then, Lauren called Victor to see if he had any information. Although Victor didn’t outright lie to Lauren, he also omitted the fact that Michael is missing. Victor didn’t have to say anything, though. Lauren knew from that phone call that something wasn’t right.

In Thursday’s episode, there will still be no word from Michael. Lauren tries to get more information from Victor. However, he hides the truth from her.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kevin Fisher Hunts for the Truth

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday reveal that Kevin will search for answers. This must be related to Michael’s disappearance. Despite Kevin’s best efforts, he doesn’t come up with any information. When Lauren hears this, what will she do next? Could Lauren try to take matters into her own hands? If so, could it lead Lauren into dangerous territory?

Y&R Spoilers – Nikki Newman’s Guidance

Regarding Victoria, she is being completely duped and manipulated by Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). Victor isn’t going to give up until he protects his legacy and saves Victoria from a sick madman. At the same time, Victor doesn’t want to publicly humiliate Victoria. Ashland isn’t giving in or giving up.

Victoria lashed out at Victor and clearly doesn’t understand what is really happening. In Thursday’s episode, Nikki will try to point Victoria in the right direction. However, will Nikki be able to guide Victoria or will the situation just get even messier?

I'm too young for some of Victors conquests and don't remember all the details of some more recent ones. I am always in awe of my fellow fans and their remarkable memories. However with this particular story I can't help but feel that our master manipulator and superhero of the corporate world Victor is somewhat being written like he's not that clever after all. Ashland is beating him by turning the lies Victor is uncovering into half truths for a less than remarkable business woman Victoria to swallow up like a chocolate Sunday. Victor has lost track of Michael and is apparently too weak to tell his friends wife Lauren. Victor appears to sit aimlessly with the occasional random call to his people achieving nothing, whilst the clock ticks. Seriously!!! every minute of a missing person is imperative but it's like Victor knows him and Michael are just in a soap and he'll show up alive and well! Where's the urgency, where's the drama! Watching someone sit at a desk like they have sent a friend out to get takeout has more action and suspense! Pick up the ball writers, get this story moving, get Victor on top, in control, its what fans expect, crave and watch this show for. Get real with the corporate situation too, fans are not stupid, how can Victoria just make Ashland co CEO without board approval, she doesn't own the company or is even a majority share holder, which makes this story flimsy, without legs and mute. The writers desperately need to step up.

Yes indeed Disappointed I love your post and feel exactly as you do. However, I have noticed something about Victor. He seems to be slowing down a little not in his mind but physically; notice how he doesn't walk too much but sits a lot in his office chair as you mention. After all he the oldest member of the show and yes supposedly in good physical condition, but the grind of working 3 days to put 5 episodes together must be strenuous not just on Victor at his age but on the rest of the cast. I am not making excuses for the bad writing; oh did I say bad, it is disgraceful what they are doing to this once well written show. Their sister show the B&B is also a disgrace and I have actually started choosing which episodes to watch. There is not much else to say except let's hope the penny drops and the writers finally wake up and get their act together

I totally agree with everything you have written, with the exception I don't watch the other soaps because I wouldn't get anything else done. Y&R is my afternoon rest/reward. I concur with your comments on Victor and am happy to make allowances for such a veteran actor/character. However the writers could have had him at his desk chasing his people, pressuring them to find Michael it looks very much like this urgency will fall on Lauren and Kevin, great for their characters but it does make Victor look less capable and a little weak. Victor is supposed to be the 3 steps ahead player and this has been reiterated at the start of this story with Victor at his chess table. This is where the writers are losing their grip of ther story because they set these chess scenes up and now Lauren and possibly Kevin have to step in because Victor has lost his friend, thats not the 3 step ahead corporate genius. Its not Victors faults, he's playing out what has been written. Its the writing that's letting the story down and the story should be mute anyway because weeks ago in a scene they stated Victor was a majority share holder and chairman of the board so Victoria should not have power to just make Ashland Co CEO and if Ashland was a corporate wizard he'd know that. Where is the head of writing? Why isn't he asking these questions of his obviously junior writers? I am happy to let a little artistic license fly but this is insulting. Thank you for your response, I appreciate it.
