Phyllis knows if she comes forward now, then she will have to answer for faking her death and wasting valuable police resources, time and money. There is also the issue of what happened to Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).

While Diane and Jack are a bonafide couple, Ash and Tucker aren’t quite “there” yet. Still, Ms. Abbott had no issues moving McCall right in, which begs the question: is Ashley in love with Tucker, or just using him to irk her brother? […]
First, I am sooo sick of the writers going in circles, and adding more drama rather than bringing some of the storylines to a head. Sally sleeps with two brothers, get pregnant, the father of the brothers offer to buy her baby, and want her to go away. Then we have Phyllis, teaming up with a crazy man, pretending to be dead, meets with her daughter getting her to team up with her to keep the lie going that she is dead. Phyllis and her daughter carrying on their lie in order to have a woman to go back to prison for something that she did not do. We also have everyone convicting a woman for a crime that she did not commit, when will that come to an end? And let’s not forget Audra, Elena, Nate and Victoria, how long will they drag that heap of mess on, why not just get rid of Nate and Audra, and let Victoria be manless again. Drama is good, but why drag the storylines on forever, why not shock us and put an end to some of it.
