The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Thursday, October 8 – Abby & Chance Declare Their Love – Victoria Buys Most Of Grand Phoenix – Chelsea Wants To Leave

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, October 8, tease that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will try to get Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to relax in Chancellor Park, but their outing will degenerate into an argument. Victor will say that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is the real problem in their family right now, while Nikki will maintain that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is the issue.

Meanwhile, over at the Grand Phoenix, Billy will get a visit at his suite from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Billy and Lily will reference how Billy found Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) unconscious in the elevator at Chancellor Communications the night before. Billy will show Lily security footage from his room, which shows Adam searching through the room.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chance Chancellor & Abby Newman Enjoy Their Morning Together

Next on Y&R, in their suite at the Grand Phoenix, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will make love and start their day together. Chance will want Abby to spend the day with him having fun in the fall weather. Meanwhile, in the hotel lobby, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will wonder what’s up with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) after she gets a disturbing phone call from the hotel’s financial person.

At Adam’s penthouse, Chelsea will convalesce from her fall last night as Adam fumes that he was handling the situation and that Chelsea didn’t need to be at Chancellor Communications last night. Adam will say that he caused the power outage here and that he unsuccessfully searched through Billy’s and Lily’s rooms at the Grand Phoenix. Adam will end up leaving the penthouse upset after Chelsea accuses him of pushing her away.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Threatens Billy Abbott Once Again

Adam will head over to Society for a drink, and he’ll encounter Billy, who will needle him about breaking into his hotel suite last night. Adam will deny it, and he and Billy will argue, with Adam ultimately telling Billy that he’ll regret it if he continues to pursue him. Billy will think that Adam just keeps giving him more material for his stories.

Over in Chancellor Park, Nick will talk with Nikki about Victor. Nikki will want Nick to try to talk with Victor to get him to send Adam out of town. Nick will say that he’s got another idea for how to handle Adam. In another area of the park, Abby and Chance will return after a walk through the Genoa City zoo. Abby will say that there’s something she has to say – she loves Chance, and she’s not just falling in love…she’s already there. Chance will say that he loves her, too, and they’ll share a nice moment together.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Has A Proposition For Chelsea Lawson

Next on Y&R, back at Adam’s penthouse, Nick will arrive to talk to Chelsea, and he’ll urge her to take Adam and leave town. Nick will think that it would be better for Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and for the whole Newman family if Adam were gone from Genoa City. Chelsea will balk, and she’ll ultimately make Nick leave, but when Adam returns from Society, she’ll pitch the idea of leaving Genoa City as her own. Adam will be surprised by Chelsea’s desire to leave.

Y&R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Makes A Move Against Phyllis Summers

At Newman Enterprises, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will talk briefly by video chat with her daughter Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri). Nikki will arrive, and Victoria will share that Phyllis has been approaching Newman Enterprises’ business partners about staying at the Grand Phoenix, even though Newman Enterprises has an arrangement with the GCAC. Victoria will be peeved, and she’ll have a plan for dealing with Phyllis.

Victoria will say that Phyllis is in debt with the Grand Phoenix and that she’s about to lose her financing. Victoria will insinuate that she’s going to make a move against Phyllis and the hotel, and Nikki will caution Victoria that this could cause problems between her and Nick. Victoria won’t care – she’ll just want to send Phyllis a message.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Faces Down Billy Abbott

Next on Y&R, Lily and Billy will talk about what comes next for their business over at Chancellor Communications. Billy will suggest that they take their meeting over to Society, where Lily will pitch some new media stories to Billy. Victor will walk into the establishment and stare at Billy. Billy will stare back, defiant.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Confronts Victoria Newman

Back at the Grand Phoenix, Phyllis will get a call from her financial person and she’ll learn that a holding company purchased her note, and when Phyllis hears the name of the company, she’ll be livid.

Phyllis will rush over to Newman Enterprises, where Victoria will gush about how she now owns 75% of the Grand Phoenix. Victoria will ask Phyllis’ price for the remaining 25% of the hotel. Finally, on Thursday’s new episode of Y&R, Phyllis will leave in a huff, saying that she’ll never sell and that this isn’t over.
